 Elaina Faith, most commonly known as Lainey, has been dubbed hopeless. She is completely and totally unfixable. Sometimes she wouldn't speak at all, and no matter how hard she tried, her brain would just completely close off. 

 

Most of the "trouble" students at Rosewood Private School were assigned "helpers" to talk to them when the teacher didn't have time to and keep them in line. When Lainey's leaves for a few semesters to get married, what happens when she gets assigned a new helper? Not only is he must younger and more attractive, but he just so happens to be the very man she spent almost two and a half years fawning over? 

 

As they journey through the tough years of high school together, can Ezra Greenwood fix the so-called unfixable?
