A/N: this chapter is unedited and its 2AM here you know I can't re read it ;-;
I wake up to my annoying phone alarm.
Dishevelled and still not over the hangover, I look here and there to somehow remember the events of last night....OH MY GOD.
JACE.He carried me all the way up to our room and he put me down. Just as I was deeply engaged in my thoughts I looked down to my hand clutching on Jace's jacket, almost too aggressively for it to stay as new as it is.
I replay the entire event of thy regretful night. How I felt like holding him. It feels unreal. I hope I was dreaming and my thoughts weren't too loud for him to hear.
Despite what I thought/ what I felt, I am truly thankful to Jace. For what he did. I don't know what would have happened to me in that heated up party of aggressive, drunk teenagers if Jace hadn't practically rescued me, the damsel in distress, I hate being that.
I looked to my parallel direction to find Jace sleeping because let's face it, the boy likes to sleep when everyone's making use of the day.
I can say I was a little bit disappointed to see him not there and quite shocked to see that his bed was made. I have been making his bed and by that I mean putting his blankets into a shape which isn't so unpleasant to look at. I can't say why I do that, I mean the first time I met him which has to be three days ago, I thought the guy was okay. And I don't seem to prevent my eyes to have cancer by the amount of carelessness this one heck of a Jace shows.Just somewhere in these thoughts I feel like someone stabs me with a wood knife because I remember that it can only take a miracle to make Jace make his bed and that miracle has to be sightseeing. We had to be in the lobby by now.
I quickly get out of bed and try to make my hair look sort if decent.
Quickly changing I run to the lobby to find a few people waiting. Not that late I guess. I find Jace with a blonde snob.
I find Simon with a brown snob.
WAIT WHAT?
Ok never mind he's standing alone beside a wall, awkwardly waiting for someone(((hint: me)))."Hey Simonnnnn", I greet rather enthusiastically.
"Guess who's not drunk anymore?"
"You son of a barnacle, you left me to get drunk between those jock hunks!!"
"I am not sorry because I was dragged to a game of beer pong and boy did it hurt swallowing the ball. How was your night tho?"
"It was alright keeping in mind that I was safely escorted to my bed. By Jace. I know its hard to believe but yes."
"You know about Riley right?"
"The girl who has been head over heels for Jace since last two months when our whole grade joined the debates camp team? Of course."Riley, a brunette, in our grade has been head over heels for Jace since a few months because her friends started teasing her about her not existent liking for Jace. Well they teased for too long and the joke sort of became real and she actually started having a crush on him. Boy, the way she goes after him, no one does.
I look around to find Jace buying what seems like a water bottle and I decide to get advantage of him being alone and rush towards him.
"Hi Jace, I wanted to say thank you for last night."
"You don't have to", he says rather confidently.
I simply nod and rush back to Simon. Awks.
