Jace's POV
Things are finally decided now between The Watchers. They've been monitoring the almost vampires and they've been keeping a special eye on Valerie these days. Moricka has already cast her spell and the results are positive. She's the one for me. A vampire knows when he or she finds his/her's spouse when Moricka casts the spell upon the person you think is right for you and if a golden speck is seen in their eyes that means they're the one for you. But of course not many people are like this sometimes when a person is examined afterwards or any point in time and an unusual object is found moving in their blood that means they have a special ability but for others they might get both either by genetic inheritance or just by chance. I'm positive that she's the one for me but wolf boy seemed to already made his move. Those two look so happy together it's just too overwhelming seeing her with him instead of me. It really sucks.
Valerie's POV
I grab my skateboard out of the garage and set off down the street. GrenwhichHall was only about 10 minutes away depending on who was driving but it depends on the person really. Up ahead I can see something shiny in the soil. I picked up my skateboard and trotted over to the sparkling object. I dig my fingers in the soil, dirt getting onto my periwinkle nail polish. It's a necklace, a crescent moon to be exact. I pick it up and hold it between my fingers it looks as if it was waiting for someone to pick it up from a long time ago. I turn it over and there are some words engraved on it in a language I've never seen before.

серебряная пуля
What? does this mean? I think to myself. Hmm, I'll look it up when I get home. I slip it into the pocket of my backpack and finish my journey to school. When I arrive at school I text my mother letting her know that I'd made it to school safely. Childish I know. Who does that? You may think, I do so get used to it. Inside the school, there is nothing but me and the lonely air making it's way over to me in cool wisps, I suspect it's trying to make conversation. I reckon if someone else was here they're probably somewhere else I mean after all this school is quite large. I get to my locker and when I open it, a piece of paper falls out. A note? Already? From who?
* The Note Read in Perfect Handwriting:
Come to the high school quad when you read this.
Aww, it was probably Casper playing one of his adorable little games. Blushing, I put my stuff in my locker and skipped off to the high school quad. When I arrive the sender is there alright and it sure isn't Casper. It's Jace... My heart starts racing like this was some grand race, Cars the movie much? I remember Casper's words I know he said to stay away from him but why? I couldn't help but wonder why. I want to walk away but my feet are glued to the ground. Hang on, it's not my feet stopping me, it's a force that's drawing us together. Oh no oh hell to the no, you're joking. The thought of me and him want to make me burst into laughter! You can't be serious! I pull the note from out of my pocket, I managed to slip it in there before running off. I hand it to him. I can feel my heart in my throat and I'm pretty sure i didn't eat a heart today.
