I had cameras following throughout the day. Today was the cuts. We either made it to the finals or we leave.
We had like around a week to set up our song choice and practice everyday.
When I said that Calibur helped me to pitch out my song, I lied.
I totally got him! It was hilarious.
Anyways, that just showed him that I was right, he knew nothing of me. However, he did help me figure out what song I did want.
The auditions have already started since the morning. So to say, I've been out here for the whole day since like last time, I'm last.
"Could you get in there and mingle with the rest of the contestants," the guy behind the camera who was assigned to follow me for the day, asked me.
"Isn't that a little too late now," I questioned him as I gave him a confused look. "The majority of the contestants have already left. There's hardly anyone here left for me to 'mingle' with." I used my hands to put quotation marks around the world mingle.
The guy looked around then pointed towards the distance.
"That guy over there. Go talk to him."
"Why do I have to go to him? And why do I have to do this in the first place?"
"We don't have enough footage of you. More like nothing. Times wasting. Let's go." The camera man began to walk towards the guy who's back was facing our way.
"Hey, dude," camera dude called out to the boy. "Would you mind talking with her for a couple of minutes for the camera?"
The boy turned around, just to have me realise I knew the dude.
"Holden?"
"Everly," he looked at me from head to toe. "You look greet! And, no, of course I wouldn't mind."
"Thanks, man." Camera dude said as he began to film.
"Thanks," I said to Holden.
"No problem. So, where have you been? I haven't seen you around the house over this past week."
"I was actually practicing. Calibur was helping me."
"Calibur? Is he a contestant? I don't think I've heard of a Calibur on this season."
"Oh, no. He's not a contestant."
"So...who is he? The only Calibur I know is Calibur Pierce. Unless,..." That's when Hold's eyes widen the size of saucers. "You're kidding."
"I don't know his last name but I do know he's a famous singer."
Once those words were out of my mouth, Holden began to squeal like a little girl, I cracked up laughing. I almost spilled out on the floor clinching my stomach. Almost.
Oh, who am I kidding, I did exactly that.
Ever so slowly, I dropped to the floor laughing.
"You've got to introduce me to him!" Holden looked down at me. "Why are you laughing? I'm serious here."
"You squ-ealed," I said in between of laughing as I tried to catch my breathe.
"And? It's not like anyone is around."
Once I had enough air in my lungs, I told Holden, "Sorry to break it to you Hold but-" I paused to make it dramatic. I got up off the grass and rested a hand on Holden's shoulder. "The camera is just a couple of feet away from us." I jerked my thumb, pointing behind myself.
Holden's face turned from normal to horror in just a snap of my fingers.
A lady who came to fetch Holden, took him away for his audition.
