~Mirabella~
"Breathe in, breathe out. Slow your heartbeat." I thought to myself while slammed up against a tree. C'mon Jackson, come on!!! My newly sharp senses were in a frenzy. Loud sounds and pungent smells were coming from everywhere. I heard the crack of a branch and froze. I whipped my head over to where I heard the sound. Nothing but pitch black darkness. I sighed. Suddenly, a large, clawed hand came out of nowhere and latched onto my throat. I kicked and tossed as the creature lifted me into the air. I looked down into the red eyes of my attacker.
"Now, now Mira. I thought I told you no more running. I think I'm going to have just as much fun killing you as I did your mum." he cackled. I threw my fist at him, managing to hit him in the jaw, but not enough to have an effect on him.
He laughed once more before drawing his other hand into the air and slashing it down into my chest. Blood poured out from the cuts. I gasped and stopped my struggle. With a slash to my throat, the alpha threw me against a tree and stalked off into the darkness. Fighting to keep consciousness, I panted and held onto my throat for as long as I could. As the dark was closing in, I heard a familiar voice screaming my name. Then it was all dark.
