See You Agian( Hunter Rowland)

Chapter 6

Emma's POV

I woke up at noon and my eyes went wide. I have to meet Hunter at the park in an hour.

I jumped out of bed and grabbed an outfit. I ran into my bathroom and put on a grey crop top, black high waisted jeans, and a flannel. I brushed my wavy hair and did little makeup then brushed my teeth. I sprayed on some perfume and put on my converse.  I grabbed my purse and keys and ran downstairs. 

"Going to the park!" I yell as I rush out the door.

"Emma! Stop!" My mom yelled. I stopped and my mom walked over to me.

"Your car is at the shop. There was a flat tire." She said and i then looked and noticed my car wasn't there. I sighed.

"I'll just walk" i said and tossed her my keys. The parks only like a 15 minute walk. I was going to text Hunter and tell him I'd be late but I deleted his number a long time ago. I'll just dm him on twitter. I looked at phone and had no service.

"Uhgg" i started to jog towards the park and when I arrived it was 1:07. I looked around and saw a few people walking dogs and just walking around.

"Emma?" I turned around and saw hunter with two Starbucks drinks. I smiled and moved my hair our of my face from the wind. He handed me one and i took a sip.

"My favorite? You didn't have to buy me a drink. " i said and we walked and sat on a bench.

"i never forgot your favorite drink Emma. And i wanted to." He said and i smiled.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" I asked between the awkward silence. He nodded and took a deep breath. I just hope I was mentally prepared for all the emotions running through me at this moment. His beautiful eyes looked into mine and it was hard to looks away.

"The day you moved, I cried all day. I just couldn't believe that you moved away and I was just hoping it was a bad dream and I'd wake up with you as my neighbor still. " he said. Awe..

"As weeks went by and since I was still in magcon, I didn't have time to talk anymore. I felt horrible for breaking up with you but I thought it was for the best. " he looked at me. I felt hurt that he thought it was for the best. He was only thinking about himself when he broke up with me.

"Then Brandon set me up with Hailey.."

"Wait. The Hailey that bullied me at school? " i asked as tears flooded my eyes. I wasn't sad. I was frustrated with him. He nodded.

"When you broke up with me i went u to depression. I didn't start getting out of the house until about a month after Becuase mom made me! You broke up with me for you. Because it was best for you. " I stood up and threw my cup to the ground next to his feet.

I wanted to say something but my feet took over me and I stormed off. I started walking the way of my house and wiping my tears away. I heard a car pass me and disgusting looking men hollered at me and I rolled my eyes. A few minutes later I saw the same car driving back. They stopped and it stunned me.

"What's a pretty girl like you walking all by herself." One of the guys asked. I didn't answer but followed my brain and kept walking. A man got out of the car followed by another.

"Why don't we give you a ride home?" One said and grabbed my hand.

"Get the hell away from me." I snapped and they laughed.

"Now be nice and-" he got cut off by a horn honking. I looked over and hunter was on the other side of the road in his car.

"Need a ride?" He asked. I didn't answer i just ran last the guys and got in the passenger seat. He drove away and we were silent.

"This is me." I said and he pulled into my driveway. I saw that my mom was gone and Derek wasn't home either. I sighed and looked over at Hunter.

"Thanks. " i said. I started to get out and he put a hand on my arm.

"Your really gonna stay here alone? Look at you your shaking." He said and i did notice i was a nervous wreck.

"At least let me walk you in." He said. I nodded and we both got out. I took my house key out of my purse and unlocked the door.

"Nice place." He said. I didn't answer. I went i to the kitchen and got a glass of water and took long sips.

"Um you have a little." He said and pointed at my eye. I touched my face and there was black stains from my makeup. I groaned and went up to my room. I heard him following me. I walked in my room and i to my bathroom. I got a wet washcloth and rubbed off the makeup that was on my face form crying. I walked out and saw hunter looking st my shelf of pictures. He stopped at a certain one. The one of me and the rowlands. I looked at it and noticed me and hunter was holding hands.

"Thanks for everything. " i said and he turned around.

"i didn't think you'd keep them." He said about the pictures. I nodded and stood by him admiring my collection of pictures.

"I would never get rid of them. " i mumbled and he looked down at me. I saw the same smile on his face that I remembered from years ago.

"Your still the same emma." He said and i looked up at him.

"Same hair, same eyes, same smile....same tickle spot." He said and started to tickle my waist. I busted out in laughter and fell onto my bed.

"Stop." I yelled and grabbed his hands and holding them over me so he can't tickle me anymore. He was still giggling and i pushed him off the my side and he landed on my bed.

"i miss this." He said and i looked over at him.

"Hm?"

"Messing with my best friend. " he said and i smiled.

"Yeah. I miss this too. " I said and sighed.
