Kirbys POV

"Hey Kirby!" Janessa spoke softly as I rolled into work.

"Oh, hey Nessa, what's poppin?" She just laughs and comes closer...

"After work, my hood." She winks and rolls away. We have a flirty relationship but she has always been my bestfriend since forever ago.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a relationship with her, but then I feel like it would ruin our friendship. I wouldn't wanna do that.

I go over to the office and I start going through some paperwork and I make sure that people have payed what they owe for towing and placement.

Some of the cars in the scrap yard run fine, they are just getting too old and run down for their people to take care of.

"Did you file out those papers on my desk?" Tank roars while entering his office.

He is a little scary but I've gotten on his good side. He could crush me simply just by parking on me. I wouldn't dare do anything to get him to hate me.

"Yes sir, I had them done almost as soon as I came in." I informed him as I left his office.

"Good work son, you can clock out now if you want. I heard janessa talking about the drive-in movie tonight. You guys should go! I know you guys are just bestfriends and all, but I still respect that you treat my daughter right." He winks at me? And I just say 'yes sir' and go to find janessa.

"Hey Kirby." Janessa winks to me as I pull up beside her. She looks a little different that normal.

"Like my new paint job? I got it just for you." She blows me a kiss and then just bursts out laughing along with me.

I love her like a sister... Well, I think.. Maybe more? I don't know...

"So, uh, your dad said you would like to see the movie tonight?" Her eyes light up as if they were  brand new headlights.

"Omg yes! It looks so good!" She smiles.

"Well good, I'll pay!" She gets a huge grin on her grill. "Uhh, what?"

"So you're taking me out in a date, huh? I knew you liked me." She winks and drives away.

She'll be the death of me, I swear.
