Stepped into a world where no one is perfect and now we're waking up,
watching the flames burn and the mountains erupt.
You grab my hand saying it'll be alright, but you're turning into dust.
And I'm burning on the inside, not visible on the outside and were walking across empty seas.
But when all hope is lost in this deadly holocaust I look into your eyes and I'm home.
And as we're heaving through the dust I find a bottle in the rust, broken among the shredded glass.
I take a heavy swing to your crown and you fall to the ground before I can think twice.
Shock waves flow through me before I return consciously and rain pours down from the sky.
My lip trembles and my body quakes and the earth begins to shake beneath me, and all is lost.
A pistol in my pocket has a bullet with my name on it and a trigger made for me to pull.
Everything is gone, and everything is dead except your voice in my head luring me to the light.
A loud bang was the sound heard as I fell to the ground beside where you were sleeping.
We lay peaceful among the chaos, in love and never lost as our journey begins anew in a world more perfect than where we came.
