I shot out of the portal and into a lake. Disoriented, I thrashed around for a bit before I found the top of the water. My head broke the surface and I gasped for air. When my breathing had returned to normal, I started to look around. I didn't get to see much before A portal opened up behind me and spit out Paul into the lake, right on top of me. I went under again for a few more seconds, and somehow I managed to get to the shore. Paul came out of the water a few seconds later and we looked at the world we had fallen into.

We were surrounded by a lush green forest. The lake we had fallen into was sparkling and reflective, sort of like the portal, except blue instead of green. A waterfall of white water was crashing into the lake , running down a mossy cliff. The trees were not like the trees back home. Their bark was shiny and smooth, and the leaves were small and round. As I looked around this place, something moved behind me. I whipped around to see a small figure sitting on a sunflower, looking at me."Uh, Paul?" I asked, not taking my eyes off of the flower. "You might want to come see this." Paul walked over to the flower and stared at the small figure perched on it. She ( I'm assuming it's a girl) had white-blonde hair tied back in a braid and black eyes. She was wearing a dress made of what looked like flower petals and small boots of leaves. Delicate lavender butterfly wings were folded on her back. "Cool!" exclaimed Paul. "It's a faery!" "Would you care to explain what a 'faery' is?" I asked."This,"said Paul, gesturing towards the girl. Just then, the faery spoke."Hi!" She said. Her voice sounded like, well, it was hard to describe. But I'll try. If bells could talk, that's how they'd sound: silvery and soft.

The faery kept talking." I'm April! And welcome to Elysia!" "Uh, hi." I said nervously. " I'm Jayda and this is Paul. We're kind of lost, so would you mind pointing us in the right direction? " "Not at all!" Exclaimed April. "I know where everything is around here! So what're you looking for?" I looked at Paul. He shrugged. Real helpful, Paul. Real helpful.

"We're looking for..." I honestly had no idea what we could be looking for here. I was thinking it over when Paul spoke."We're looking for someone who can help us get back home," he said. "Hmm," said April. "That's a tough question." She thought for a moment. I was just beginning to be bored when she snapped her fingers. "I'e got it! You want to see a wizard! Lucky for you, there's a wizard who lives very close to here! In fact, he's so close, I can take you there myself!" April leapt off the sunflower and started flying away. Paul and I glanced at each other, and started to chase after the faery.
