A New Start

Chapter 7: School

3 weeks later
It's the first day of school and Claire is nervous about going since she don't know anyone there except for Cody, Zack goes to West coast middle school, Claire didn't know how they did things in school down in Florida.
Claire was waiting for her alarm clock to wake her up so she could start getting ready for her first day, her alarm clack finally went off and she took a shower, put on a trendy outfit and went down stairs for breakfast.
"Hey, Claire, are you ready for you first day of school?" Asked her mom
"Yeah, I can't wait"
"Do you want me to drive you to school or do you want to ride the bus?"
"You can take me to school"
Claire finished eating her breakfast and she grabbed her backpack, and went to get in her mom's car, and then went to school, and she went to the office to get schedule.
Claire didn't know where any of her classes were so she went to try and look for Cody to see if he could show her where her classes were at, she finally went to the cafeteria and spotted Cody and she went right over to him.
"Hi, Cody" said Claire
"Hey, Claire, how do you like the school?" Said Cody
"It's cool, but can you show me where my classes are?"
"Let me see your schedule and I'll show you around"
Claire handed Cody her schedule
"Let's see, we have 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th together, but I'll show you where your 2nd and 4th blocks are"
Said Cody
Claire followed Cody and he showed her classes to her. It was a few minutes till the bell rang so they just talked until the bell rang and went to class, her first class was English, the teacher was Ms. Clark, Ms. Clark came into the classroom.
"Hello, Class, my name is Ms. Clark and we have new student this year, would you like to introduce yourself" said Ms. Clark
Claire got up and stood by her chair
"Hello, My name is Claire and I recently moved here from Texas"
Claire sat back down in her seat, about halfway through class, she almost fell asleep, and then the bell rang for the class to be dismissed.
"I'll see you in next block" said Cody
And before he left, he kissed Claire, and she went to her next class, where it was exact routine as the class before and she knew it was going to be long day, it was the same routine all day, the bell rang for school to be dismissed and it was time to go home, Claire had made 3 friends already.
Claire and Cody said their goodbyes and left to go home, she was glad to go home and there was no homework for her to do
