This day couldn't get any worse.
It's been two days since I figured out about my dad. I now know what depression really feels like, and it's not good. I said to myself, "Today could have been the day my one and only dad came home. Where we could be a family again.

Mom has been trying not to be as depressed as I am and trying to get me out of the house or at least my room. When we got out of the hospital that night I came straight into my room. I haven't left since. I've even been too depressed to eat. My mom came in again and sat with me on my bed. "Sweetheart, I know you've been so depressed since the night we left the hospital. I'm just depressed as you are, but listen, your dad is better now and not sick and the happiest he's ever been. He's been looking over you right now and he wants you too be happy." Tears started coming out of my eyes.

"How am I supposed to be happy when I know I don't have a dad anymore like everybody else."

"Faith, you do have a dad. Just because he's not in the world anymore doesn't mean he's not with you in your heart. He's still your dad and he always will be. Come on, come downstairs and eat some lunch with me. After you eat you should go to the mall and relax and buy some stuff."

So, I finally decided to go downstairs and eat. Before I left to go to the mall, mom gave me $100 even tho I already had some money.
"Mom, you don't have to give me money."
"Just take it. And you know how expensive stuff is at the mall anyway. I love you and be safe please." Now I do agree with that.

"Love you too mom." So I got in my car, and to the mall I went. When I got there I was watching this family. This couple was in a store with a toy that there little girl wanted. They didn't enough money to get the stuff that she wanted. So I decided to go over there to do something nice.

I bent down to the little girl and gave her the $100 my mom had given me. She gave me a big hug and it made me feel a lot better. "Thank you so much. You are so kind." The mom said.
"You're welcome. Have a nice day." I said.

Then as I walked out of the store, I bumped into this guy. "Oh god, I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying any attention." I said embarrassed.
"That's okay. I wasn't paying any attention either." The guy said. Then, after we both stopped rubbing our heads, we looked at eachother and I instantly fell in love.
