Mother Nature

Phil's POV
"We should have a sleepover!" Chris suddenly suggests, swinging his shopping bag back and forth. I turn to the Humans and give them a nod. "We should! We're all practically friends now."
Peej, Caspar, and Dan all give each other a look before turning to Chris and I.
"I'll ask my parents. Who's house?" Chris says, pulling out his phone. I do the same thing. The next minute is just spent texting our parents and making the plans. (The sleepover's at Caspar's house.)
We all go home for about an hour to get a bag packed and chill before hanging out. At 18:37 I grab my bag and go down the stairs. "Bye Mum, bye Dad." I give them each a hug, my mum swiping her tail over my ears in a affectionate way, and start walking towards Chris who is waiting at the end of my driveway.
"LETZ GO!" Chris lets out a battle cry, intertwines his tail with mine, and begins to run towards Caspar's house as fast as he can.
Being part cat, Nekos are extremely fast compared to Humans.
Humans give us odd looks as we skid to a halt in front of a nice, one-story house. Chris bursts out laughing when I stop to quickly and fling forward onto the grass.
"You idiot," Chris purrs. I scoff and him and roll over on my back. Swinging my tail around in the soft grass, I yell rather loudly,
"I AM ONE WITH NATURE!"
Chris blushes when more Humans raise their eyebrows and he blocks the bottom half of his face with his hands. "Phil! Get up!"
"Nature!"
"Yes, Phil you're part of nature because you're part cat."
"NATURE!"
"Phil, get up! You're embarrassing! What if Peej or Dan or Caspar comes out?"
"MOTHER NATURE LOVES ME!"
We both hear the front door open and I instantly sit up, curling my tail around my waist. "Yep, Mother Nature loves you very much." Dan says. I look down in embarrassment and quickly stand up, brushing off my knees and thigh highs. Peej appears behind Dan and his face lightens up. "Chris! Phil! Get in here," he pulls down out of the way and gestures for us to get inside of the house. Chris and I immediately listen, because Peej has dominance over both of us still.
We scramble into the house and duck our heads to Caspar and his parents. "Oh, you two are just lovely!" his mother squeals, gently stroking both of our ears. "Thank you," Chris and I reply at the same time. Both of his parents are Humans, but they look nice.
"Let's go to my room." Chris whines and drags all of us through a hallway and into a fairly-sized room. Chris and I put our bags where everybody else did.
"Let's play Truth or Dare." Peej suggests, a sly look in his eye. Us two Nekos give each other a panicked glance.
"Uh, okay.." Chris mumbles, sitting next to Peej and brings his tail to his hands, fumbling with the end of it to show he's nervous.
"Dan, truth or dare?" Caspar asks. Dan is silent for a second before deciding. "Truth."
Caspar groans. "Ugh, you always pick truth. Fine. Is it true you want to claim Phil?"
I instantly tense up and block myself with Parents' Shield. Peej gives me a sympathetic look.
"Um, yeah, I want to claim Phil." Dan sighs and gives me a reluctant look. Caspar narrows his eyes. He mumbles something under his breath, and me with my cat ears, hear it.
"Too bad because I'm going to claim Phil for myself."
And, that settles it. I'd much rather prefer Dan to claim me.
(Seriously though, why hasn't Peej claimed Chris already?)
