pink...too bright; it didn't match her skin tone at all...

taupe...just no...

mauve...eh...

purple...too dark...

cierra's slim brown fingers slid thoughtfully over all the NYX matte lipstick cartridges, and when she put her hand up next to the tone she thought would fit, she began to measure the hue of the cosmetic to the mocha tones of her skin and she then began to grow frustrated with herself. she huffed and rolled her bottom lip between her index finger and thumb, confused as to why her skin did not go right with any tone. it wasn't only this brand...maybelline, l'oréal, covergirl, physician's formula...nothing matched at all.

she felt a strong force collide with her lower back and she turned to meet the gaze of two melted gold irises igniting fires in her soul that were so hot, her mouth went dry. her eyes wandered and raked over his luxurious features; thick, dark eyebrows, olive skin and few hues lighter than her own, long eyelashes that almost curled into hollows his eyelids, a strong jaw, pink hair and plump, moderately chapped lips.
