Well that was interesting... Wait!!! I shifted!! I actually did it! Wait... Okay there's a lot to think about. Werewolves are real, not like the stories say. There are mates. Alphas, betas, omegas, Warriors and what not. I'm an angelic daughter. I'm a white wolf with green eyes. I'm "married" or "mated" to the Alpha of a huge pack. And we can go into war any time of day. That's just greeaaaaaaaaat. Sarcasm!!
"It's not so unbelievable after a while love." Alston said as he came up to me. "You can shift back now." He smiled. I looked around and found he was completely naked. "Oh sorry! Well go on now! You can shift." I snapped angrily at him. 'I don't know how to, stupid!' I mind linked. He looked at me amused.
'Imagine what you look like in human form and badda bang badda boom. It happens.' SNAP! And I was in human form.
"Okay let's get you clothes before any one gets any ideas. Or before I get any ideas." He smirked. "Let's NOT get any ideas and be happy and merrily on our way." Sickeningly sweet. He laughed and we went inside.
For a while we sat there and Netflixed Orange Is the New Black, then finally fell asleep.
Beginning of dream
When I awoke in the morning, it was 9:30 perfectly. I walked down the soft carpeted stairs and saw maids hustling around and Alston in the kitchen. He was cooking something and in the next room over, kids were playing with toys and watching TV. 'Morning' I said lazily. He poured me coffee and gave me some bacon with a chocolate crepe. 'Morning. How'd you sleep?' 'Just fine thanks.' And all of a sudden the kids screamed and everything went pitch black.
End of dream
I woke up suddenly with and empty bed. I looked around and saw it was 7:30 a.m. "Well that was weird." I said. I walked into the bathroom, cleaned up, got dressed and went downstairs to get ready for a run.
I saw Alston and a couple who looked at least in their 50's or 60's. "What's going on Alston?" I asked. And he slowly turned towards me. "Love, these are my parents." I gulped in shock and instantly recognized the man. His scarred face reminding me of my nightmares.
"We can talk about what's going on now." He said slowly.
