Dinner

"Hey guys welcome, dinner is about to be ready so I'll just introduce you to the family!" Apryll says right as she opens the door. "Hi, that's would be nice." My mom says stepping into Apryll's house signaling us to follow. Jamie walks in first and I look at her outfit, she was wearing some black leggings,nude combat boots,and a dark green shirt with a black vest over it.Finally we reached the dinning room and we all sat down at a 8 seat dinning table,3 across each side and 1 on each end of the table. So my mom decided to sit on the left side of the table on the far right side, while I sat in the middle and Jamie sat on the left end of the 3 seats. Apryll finally comes into the dining room with 4 other people, 2 teenage boys, 1 man and 1 older woman. My first instinct was to smile so I did and absolutely I get nervous see one of the teen boys that came in a I sort of get shy so I look down while I still smile knowing that I might be blushing, and didn't want anyone to notice. Apryll starts introducing her family. " This is my husband, my mom who is visiting for the next 2-6 weeks and these two are my boys, Zach and Tyler" "Oh how nice, two people Arely and Jamie can start talking to you know before school starts." My mom says trying to hint us to introduce ourselves to them. "Oh ya Hi I'm Jamie" Jamie says standing up and going over to shake their hands "and.. I'm Arely" I say giving then a smile and shaking their hands as well. "Hi, I'm.. Well you know me already" Zach says as he slightly giggles. His smile was great and so was his laugh, it's a laugh you can not laugh or smile with. "Well do you guys want to eat now I think food is ready?" Apryll says walk to the kitchen "sure I'm super hungry after the move" I say as I walk over to my seat mentally hand palming my self for saying that like damn I just sounded fat 😁 "Sure sweetie, food is coming now" Apryll yells from the kitchen "Why don't I help you guys" my mom says as she stands up from the table and moves to the kitchen. "So how old are you ladies?" Zach's grandma asks us "Well we are both 15 but Jamie is a bit younger" I say smiling hoping she would tell us how old the guys were. I glance and Zach out of the corner of my eye and see him quietly talking to his brother. I'm I too younger for him? What was he saying? " Oh ok, Where are you guys from before you guys came here?" She asks "Well we were from Colorado, not far but still a bit of a drive." Jamie says "Foods ready! Go wash your hands guys" Apryll says as she,my mom and Zach's dad walk out with bowls of food in each hand. Jamie and I walk into the kitchen and Jamie decided to run ahead so I had to go second which gave me time to think.
Damn how come Zach seems so familiar?
