Isabelle POV

Recap 

I heard Hunter cursed under his breath. While I just stand there. Hunter took a breath before speaking and I was shocked at what I heard.

“Isabelle this is my ex-girlfriend Melissa”

I blinked as I looked from Hunter to the Melissa his ‘ex-girlfriend’ who was standing in front of us. Hunter was glaring at her with an annoyed expression but she didn’t seem to notice was just was not affected by it because she was currently spending death glares at me, and if looks could kill I would be six feet under by now. The tension of this hallway was so thick that you could have probably cut it with a knife.

The only thing that was really going through my mind was ‘Me…. Hunter……Kiss….Ex- girlfriend…..Shit’ I was so lost in my own world that I didn’t notice that they were arguing, about what I don’t know probably about what was happening here. At the look of things Hunter looked like he forgot about me for a second there until Melissa mention me as ‘slut’. I have to admit it did make my belly drop when he had so easily forgotten me but I also annoyed that she had the decency to call me a slut by the way she dress I think she should look in the mirror before she goes around calling people sluts.

“Hunter for God sakes answer my question, who is this slut and why did she have her tongue down your throat, she sent me a disgusted look at the last part. Alright, so this is awkward and very annoying for me and I want nothing more than to punch this chick. Like whom the hell does she think she is talking bad about me in front of me and to my mate of all people? Hunter probably notices that I was a little on edge and quickly intervene.

“Isabelle can you give me a moment, I think Melissa and I need to talk for a minute” Hunter said sounding upset. At what I don’t know it could because I had to leave, or he didn’t want to talk to her or he was probably still has feelings for her and her seeing us just now ruin his chances with getting her back. But would he really do that? Yeah I know I am new at this whole relationship thing but he couldn’t have gotten bored with me already right?

Hunter seems to notice my uneasiness about leaving because he give me a soft peck on the lips and sent me a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry” He whispered to me, and me being the fool I am just nod unable to speak because even with just a peck it still gave me that nice warm feeling you get. I began to walk away but not before looking back at Melissa who had a smug expression on her face when she saw I was leaving, probably think they are going to get back together. I let out a nervous laugh when I was no longer in ears reach of them because even as I say that to myself I can’t help that little part of me that says that what he is really gonna do and the reason he sent me always.  

I walked into the living room and instantly smiled as I saw everyone, well everyone except James. The twins were playing on the Xbox, Logan and Shain are playing cards while Alex is reading a book at the end of the couch. I walked into the room and sat down right next to Alex causing him to look up and smiles when he sees me.

“Hey guys, what’s up?” I asked as I wiggled around trying to make myself more comfortable.

“Nothing much, except for these two idiots who keeps picking fights with each other” Shain said waving his hand in the direction of the twins but not taking his eyes from his eyes; he has that concentrating look on his face. I turned to face Alex who had just closed his book and rest it on the arm of the couch.

“Why do they keep picking fights with each other?” I asked no one in general. Both Liam and Kyle looked up at the same time, shrug their shoulders and said “It’s a guy thing”. I didn’t even ask what that meant because this wasn’t the first time they said that and when I ask what they meant, they just said I won’t understand cause I am a girl. Stupid boys.
