To my beautiful friend:
You say that no one will ever love you
And everyone you ever like does not like you back
And you say it's because you can't walk
Nobody wants a girl that can't walk
Parts of that is not true
Yes, when people look at you they see only the wheel chair
They do not see what I see
I see a beautiful talented girl
Someone who would drop anything for someone in need
A lovely girl who puts everyone's needs in front of hers
A fantastic musician
You can sing and play any instrument you put your mind to
You write songs that are so beautifully written
You are the shinning star that lights up anyone's darkness
Yes, many people only see the wheel chair but that is because they don't know the beautiful girl inside
They don't sit down and get to know the girl that is too good for this world
You say that no one can love the girl in the wheel chair
But the truth is I love that girl and all your friends do too
And one of these days you'll find the love of your life who will too
You may be the girl who can't walk but you are the light in this world
You are the positivity in this negative life
- I wrote this for one of my friends who is always there for me when I need her. She is truly the greatest person I have ever meet and with out her I don't know how I would ever survive.
