Childhood To Remember

Chapter 1

I was five years old. Me and my cousin Xavior were best friends. He was eight. One day Xavier and I were hanging out and Xavior seen I was bored so he created a game to make my childhood a little more interesting..he told me that he could see monsters and that he fought them. He told me that I was a demigod and so was he.and he told me that he needed to save the world, and needed my help doing it. He explained how my parents were Greek gods and he explained to me what a Greek god was. A being with so much power a monster could smell them from miles away. He told me that there were many monsters out there, such as Bloody Mary, you can't look into here eyes or your eyes will bleed. Or chupacabra, a wolf that has been known to eat various mammals. The tree slicer,shadow slayer,jersey devil. And the leader of them all Kronos, a  giant made of fire, a demon with no heart, a living thing with no soul. He told me it was are job to defeat them. He told me that the was a spirit named Delphi and that she could tell the future and that we'd have to go to her to see my prophecy. But for now we will fight monsters.And of course at the age of five it was a little hard to comprehend but I believed him anyway. We lived on a farm with cows,goats,and a horse. There was a torn down barn with a lot of old tractors. And a big white house. Xavier took me to the back of the barn where the corn was sprouting and the birds were tweeting. He told me that there were some monsters up ahead and he wanted me to go fight them. I told him I couldn't, because I could not see them. He told me that over time I would be able to but for now you will feel it inside of you and you will hit them. As I ran with my five year old body and punched and kicked into the air a smile ran across Xavier's face as he seen his little cousin having fun.
