Amelia's POV
"Amelia this game is boring. Why are we here again?" Alexis whines. "Are you even listening to me? Amelia! Amelia!"
"Shhhh, Alexis. I'm trying to watch the game. Joey's not doing so hot," I reply a bit annoyed.
"Well one thing I can tell you is that your brother is hot. Like really hot." Alexis says. I turn around and give her a death glare. "Hey, I just speak the truth. But really Amelia, do we have to-"
"Come on Joey! You need to get your pass off in time!" I yell, cutting her off. "What were you going to say Alexis," I ask as I sit back down.
"Nothing," she replies with a sigh.
"O-kay." I say. There's a bit of an awkward silence, so I fill it in the best way I can. "So Half-Time is coming. Anything you want to talk about?" I question.
"We should talk about homecoming! I mean what're we gonna wear? Who are we going with? Like I bet we can get dates easily, but it'll be hard to choose," Alexis rambles.
"Well I kind of have to go with Carter," I say quietly.
"What? Girl you're so lucky!" Alexis says, practically screaming in my ear.
"Well he's kind of jerk sometime," I state.
"Well you're gonna have to suck it up then. Now about the dress and color."

Carter's POV"Hey congrats man on that play! You just reached out and caught it. You looked like Odell out there!" A drunken party goer says to me.
"Thanks man," I respond. I came to this party because A) the football team was going to be there because we won, B) it was at Kaden's house, and C) this was a good way to "get votes" for homecoming.
Amelia and I had put up a couple of posters around the school and gave out flyers to the students during lunch. I also had my ways and even got the announcer at the football game say "vote Carter and Amelia for homecoming prince and princess."
So far, it only looked like the true competition was Mackenzie and Kaden, who I believe had more arguments than actual agreements. Other than them, the other two "couples", weren't really campaigning.
"Carter! Come play a game of beer pong with us!" Carlos, a defensive tackle, yells at me.
I begin to make my way over, and find that they had split the teams into defense an offense. I decided then and there that I wouldn't play, but would observe.
"So Carter are you going to play? Or you just gonna stare at us?" Carlos questions.
"I'm just gonna watch." I respond
"Suit yourself," he says.
The game went on for about 15 minutes, and ended with the offense winning. I stepped away from the table, and headed towards the kitchen.

Amelia's POV"Hey get ready Alexis " I yell from my room.
"Yes mother," she yells back.
I decided to wear a white floral dress and a black belt for my outfit and for my shoes I decide on a baby blue high heels. For my makeup, I put some nude eye shadows, a bit of mascara, and also put some nude lip stick to end my makeup. Last but not least I curl my hair to make it look like beach waves. I give myself one last look in the mirror, then turn and notice that Alexis is almost ready.
