Chapter 1 the beginning

Girl's p.o.v

It's dark I can't see anything. I'm shivering. I feel something on my face. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was surrounded by this white stuff and it was falling from the grey fluffy things over head. One lands on my nose and I sneeze. I look down and see paws. I had white fur. I wonder what this white stuff is I thought to my self. Snow came a voice from my mind. I sit there thinking what to do and about the white stuff. Snow the voice repeated. I jumped when I felt some thing nudge me and sniff me. I turned around and saw these huge furry creatures. Wolves make mind connection the voice in my mind said. The I guess wolf nudged me again. I was still shivering. Another wolf came up and grabbed me by the neck. It was gentle. The wolves started walking in a direction towards the trees that had mountains in the distance. My tummy grumbled. When we arrived at our destination. I saw a cave. I was carried in and was put down and the wolfs started to lick me. The big one grabbed something and dragged it to me. Eat young pup came a deep voice in my mind. I knew it was the leader. I obeyed and listened. I ate the whole thing. I yawned and fell asleep snuggling next to the leader who growled at first but then became ok with me sleeping by him.

The next day I woke up and stretched out. The leader and all the wolves all went out to hunt I followed. Now pup do you know your name? The leader asked. I shook my head no. Okay hmm.. How about snow. He suggested I wagged my tail saying I liked it. I could here the wolf chuckling. I became close to the leader he told me to call him dad and his partner leader mom. There's about fifteen of us including me and four other pups. We were running when I saw something running in the woods. I started to follow. Snow no stay away from humans they hunt and kill us and steal pups my dad said to me. I nodded my head and started following dad. I helped as much as I could in the hunt. After we hunted we went back to the cave. Papa can I go explore? I asked my dad. Yes stay close don't go past the lake he replied I nodded my head. Snow still covered the ground I bolted around in it. When I all of a sudden heard this noise that was a whimper or should I say two. I followed the sound and it led me to the lake. The lake was frozen over the sun glistened off the ice surface. I hid in a bush and saw two lumps holding each other and making that noise. Crying the voice in my mind said. I walked forward and sniffed. I accidentally stepped on a twig they both turned around and saw two girls with hazel eyes and blonde hair the eyes were red and puffy. They shrieked. I ran behind a tree. I peeked out and saw them starring. I slowly came out on my tummy. I saw a little movement between them and saw it was a little chipmunk. I forgot the girls were there and pounced the girls shrieked again. I thought I had the chipmunk I dug my nose in the snow trying to get it but ended up with snow covering my nose. I sneezed. The girls giggled. I turned to them. My tongue hanging out. I went up to them and licked them. I could tell they were in pain but where having fun. They grabbed snow in their.... Paws I guess. They. Threw it and I tried catching it but it broke I whined. We continued this for an hour or so when I heard my dad howl.

I whipped my head around as he howled again telling me to come home. I howled back in reply. "I guess you have to go." One of the girls said. I nodded my head. "Come back tomorrow. We have to go home to sadly" the other girl said. I turned and ran back home. When I got home dad started licking me. Bath time snow my dad said to me and carried me into the cave where my mom and dad started licking me. I sat still and told him about me trying to catch a chipmunk to play. Dad can you teach me about humans and other animals please I begged giving him my puppy dog face. Ok snow I will my dad said chuckling. We all went to sleep and snuggled.

The next day we went hunting again and I saw different things I was asking my ma and papa about everything. They told me about land marks and trees and flowers and their benefits to us and about all animals. Dad has said he found books all over the woods they were old but had pictures and animal names under each picture when we took down a buck and ate we ran back to the cave and dad dragged the book from way back in the cave. I never noticed we flipped through the book and I looked at every thing closely and with curiosity. I finished the book fast. I memerized each animal. Dad can I continue exploring outside please he nodded his head and I yapped in happiness. I ran to the lake where I met the girls yesterday. I heard them and they were crying. I came up and nudged them. They froze and turned around slowly. When they saw it was me they smiled a little. "Hi there again. Hmm we have to give you a name. Like Megan and I have a name you need one." The girl said I sat there and tilted my head. "Alice look aww so cute." Megan said. They giggled and started asking me if I liked the name rain, Lilly, Kim, grace, summer, etc.. I shook my head wolf until I laid down and not respond till Alice said "how about snow" I barked and jumped up and began running and pouncing in the snow. They giggled. We met up every day and they told me what was going at their home how their dad abuses them since their mom left in the middle of the night a year ago. They were five almost six.

Years past and they stopped coming to the lake. I was sad. Now I know a little more about humans and different animals. I found out I could turn into any animal that lives on land when the girls stopped coming. I turned into a chinchilla. I was shocked and tried shifting into a cheetah, Panther, a fox, a normal dog, a cat, and birds. I even turned into a white tiger. I turned back to my normal form my all white wolf. I started running threw the woods. I was hunting a deer. I caught it and everyone from the pack came and ate. There's a lot more of us. Dad has been training me to take over the pack since I was his kid since mom couldn't have pups. So I know how to fight. I'm protective of my pack. I'm the leader now. Since my dad and mom got tired of leading the pack cause they were older now.

They are still apart of the pack. They take over when I'm gone for a couple days a month they don't know where I go. I just run and shift into all my animals I can shift into. When every one was back at the cave asleep for the night I ran to the lake and sat there. Even tho the girls don't come anymore and haven't for ten years now I still come here. I laid down and put my head on my paws and laid there for a while until I head crying two of them again I turned as I saw two humans that looked alike. I sniffed and I knew it was Alice and Megan. When they stopped and looked at me in shock. "Snow?" Megan asked. They were taller then the last time I saw them. They still had blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. I looked them over and saw they were purple blue and black. I whined. They limped over to me. They sat down and I laid down next to them whining. "Oh snow we missed you. Dad has gotten worse then ever he rapes us every day. It hurts. But there are new guys at school they are so cute two of them are twins like us. But we can't have friends or anything." Alice cried. I whined and licked her. It was nippy out. "I hate November." Megan says. She pulled the thingy over her tighter trying to stay warm i got up and the girls scooted closer together thinking I was gonna leave. But nope when they were close together I plopped down on both of them and laid on their laps keeping them warm they hugged me. And cried some more. When the moon was high in the sky I nudged the girls they had fallen asleep.

They woke up with a startle. I nudged them again toward the way they came. They started walking back to their home I followed to make sure they got home safely. Their home looks weird I thought to my self as they went in. I turned and ran home. I laid down at near the cave entrance and sighed thinking things are going back to normal.
