The service drags on and Nash stares at the back of Cameron's head the entire service. Cameron keeps his arms around the woman the whole time and would occasionally turn his head to whisper something in her ear. He doesn't pay attention to the pastor at all, his mind is squarely on the singer in front of him.

He wants him.

He wants him more than he's wanted anything in his entire life and it seems crazy to pursue a Christian singer who leads worship in a mega church who clearly has a girlfriend or wife but that doesn't matter. Nash sits there thinking about how to approach him.

The service is finally over and after the final prayer the congregation is ushered out. Nash figures they'll just leave but his mother is stopped by an older woman who places her hand on his mother's arm.

"Hello, is this your first time visiting us?" She asks warmly and Elizabeth gives her a shy smile.

"Yes, it's our first time here.." she replies as she trails off, unsure of what else to say.

"Oh wonderful! Please join us for our putlock, we'd absolutely love to have you. My name is Carol, it's a pleasure to meet you," she says with an excited smile on her face.

Nash and Matt share a look at how friendly the lady is being, it's feels weird to them.

"I'm Elizabeth, this is my son Nash and his friend Matthew." Elizabeth replies, introducing them to Carol. "It's nice to meet you as well... it was a lovely service."

"I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I hope we'll see you next Sunday!" She exclaims, she doesn't wait for Elizabeth to agree to staying for the lunch, she wraps her arm around Elizabeth's shoulder and leads her to the dining hall.

"I guess that means we're staying..." Matt trails off, he doesn't really mind, he's always down for free food.

"I suppose so," Nash murmurs but his attention is elsewhere, he's spotted Cameron who is walking into the dining hall with the woman he was sitting next to.

Deep down Nash had hoped it was a family member but their intertwined fingers proved him wrong.

"Fuck..." he mutters but follows them inside, Matt smirks as he walks after Nash.

Matt has always believed that one day Nash would find someone who would elicit that kind of reaction from Nash, Nash always scoffs and claims that he'll remain aloof like he always does but he was very clearly wrong.

They join Elizabeth who is now sitting at a table with Carol, they chat quietly as the dining hall fills with the rest of the church goers.

Matt leans into Nash's ear with a smirk on his face.

"So what are you planning to do, loverboy?" He asks cheekily and Nash rolls his eyes because he knows why Matt is feeling so smug.

"I'm talking to him before we leave today, mark my words." He murmurs in reply.

"You do realize that what you want is impossible, right?" Matt asks sincerely, he does find it amusing at how infatuated Nash is already but he would never want to see Nash hurt by pursuing someone so far out of his reach.

Nash is his best friend, almost like a brother, but Matt can objectively say that Nash is a very good looking person. Girls and guys alike fall all over themselves to grab his attention. He has milky white skin with freckles and bright blue eyes that can make anyone go weak. His smile can make anyone smile. But, even with all of his attributes, Matt doubts Nash can turn a straight Christian man gay or even bi.

"Maybe..." Nash replies but it doesn't lessen his determination to get to know the singer.

When everyone is seated the pastor says a prayer before they get up table by table to get the food. When it's their turn, Nash and Matt pile their plates full of food and make their way back to the table.
