11. Visitors

I snuggled my head closer into Gaige's chest and sighed. In my opinion, this is the most comfortable place in the world. Gaige's arms tightened around my waist, "Comfortable, babydoll," he asked me, laughing slightly.

"Yes," I mumbled and buried my face back into his chest, causing him to laugh again.

"Well that's good, but you know we have to get up, right?"

"Uhhhh! Why," I whined and rolled away from him.

"We go back to school today. You know that. Come on," he said pushing the blankets back. The cold air hit my naked body and chill bumps covered my skin. "Get up," Gaige said, leaning over me, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my shoulder.

"Carry me," I whined and he sighed, but lifted me up out of the bed and carried me into the bathroom.

"There, now get ready," he said and walked out of the room.

"Gosh, bossy much," I said to myself and started the shower. When I finished, I wrapped a towel around my body and walked back onto our bedroom. Gaige was already finished and was sitting on the bed, when I walked in, he glanced up and his aura turned red while his eyes turned black. He growled and walked across the room, pinning me to the wall. "Now, Gaige..," I snickered, pushing him back and walking towards the closet, "we don't need to be late." He growled again and I laughed as I started picking through my clothes.

About half an hour later, I ended up in a pair of shorts, a blue, black and white lumber jack shirt and black Vans. I pulled my hair into a messy ponytail, grabbed my bag and headed down stairs; Gaige had already gone down. As I walked into the kitchen, Gaige was sitting at the island with Jason.

"Where's my breakfast at," I asked playfully as I sat down next to Gaige. He just shrugged.

"I don't know, go find it," he said and I growled and looked over at the clock.

"Whatever, we don't have time anyway, we need to leave. Come on," I said and he pushed his plate away and stood with me. We walked out the door and into the garage where his truck was waiting. After we had both climbed inside and had gotten comfortable, the engine roared to life and he headed towards the school.

When we reached the school, I automatically knew that something was..off. I don't know why, I could just feel it. As I climbed out of the the truck, I looked around, nervously.

"What's wrong, babydoll," Gaige asked as he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me into his side.

I sniffed at the air casually, but nothing smelled out of place. "I don't know..it's nothing I guess," I said, smiling slightly at him and I leaned up and pecked his lips gently. He smiled as he led us into the school. As we walked down the hall towards our lockers, I continued to glance around me, feeling almost defensive...like something was going to jump out and attack me and Gaige, but I could never place anything that was even slightly different. Finally, when we reached our lockers, Halle and Ryan were waiting beside mine. "Hey, guys. Where's Noah?"

Ryan shrugged, "I don't know, he was with us this morning and then just sort of wondered off I guess. Probably cornering another girl."

"He's probably already in a janitors closet," Halle added in and we all laughed.

"Yeah, probably," I said, but before I could continue the conversation, the bell rang for first block and I made my way down the hall.

School passed fast, but I still couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. We were at home now watching a movie on the couch when my wolf started to whine again. My wolf had been scratching at me all day and it was starting to get annoying. "Hey, babe, you want to go for a run or something, my wolf has been pawing at me all day."
