A few days after agreeing to help his father collect Ladybug's miraculous, Adrien walked into the small room with the butterfly window. Hawkmoth stood there, waiting for him.
"Are you ready son?" He asked, staying faced out the window. Adrien sighed, still ashamed of what he was doing, but nodded.
"I am father." The butterfly villain smiled and turned to face him. He handed the boy his ring and motioned for him to go.
"Good, then go find her and bring me her miraculous." He turned back around swiftly as Adrien slowly backed out of the room. Making his way to the nearest window, he stood there, looking out on Paris. His beloved city, which he would soon be reaking havoc in. The thought made him shiver, but he transformed non the less. It's the only way to get my mother back.
He leaped out the window and onto the roof. Him and Ladybug were going to meet on the Eiffel Tower in about ten minutes for their patrol, that's when he would strike.
"I'm so sorry Ladybug, but it has to be this way." He muttered to himself before flinging off the roof and towards the tower.
