I turned quickly to come in contact with what I thought to be a boy who jumped right off a hot topic magazine(pretty sure they don't have them, but wouldn't that be nice). His appearance screamed emo but his goofy grin cried trouble maker.  The first thing I noticed was the color of his hair. It was a bright white with black tips. Is that even natural? His face was a little tan and her eyes were the color of a storming sky. I had never seen such grey eyes. Were THOSE even natural?! At the corner of his eye, was a small tear drop mark that almost seemed to be a birthmark that flowed down to his left cheek. He wore a white shirt with a couple of red stripes around the end of the sleeves with Black slims that reminded me imminently of Karry. He took in my features only for a second as his eyes went wide for a moment and then came what I thought would blind me; a giant white gleaming smile. He noticed my gaze as he dropped his smile quickly not trying to drag any more attention to himself as he walked past me to a seat in the back of the classroom.

"Well it is nice to have you here with us Calvin. For a second there, I thought you were not going to make it again today." The woman, that I had almost forgotten was there announced.

"I was thinking about not coming, but then by the time I figured out what to do, I was already in the doorway." He mocked the woman's remark.

"Is that so? Well it is good that we have you here now, so don't think about going anywhere this period. You have not been in class for almost a week."

"Let's just say I was out in the world communicating." Calvin and a couple of the boys who sat around him laughed as I could see a group of others in front smiling or giving small giggles under their breath."

"I see you like to communicate a lot then huh? Well enough with the old news and now every I want to introduce a new student we have. I want you to make her feel welcomed and I want you to help her out in getting caught up. Why don't you take a seat over there beside the tardy boy."

I nodded as I made my way over to the open seat that was left of Calvin. I sat down as I could see he was staring at me. I looked forward, noticing the old woman was right to what she was talking about before I showed up. I looked right again to see the this "Calvin" Still staring me down. I turned my head out of the window to the left of me seeing a small courtyard of the school.

"Alright now. You all know what to do before we completely finish the period. Look at the person beside you and communicate what you did after school yesterday. Or for some of you, what you yesterday at all because we choose not to show up!" The elder looked towards the person to my right as he smirks back. "Calvin, you have been here before to know what we are doing, why don't you help the new student with what we are doing."

"As soon as you get your hearing aid fixed, Mrs. Crane." He answered as the others in front of him begin to chuckle.

"Right and I am sure that a detention can help you with listening and many times you disappeared this week while going to the "bathroom" as you call it." The woman was appalled.

Calvin rolled his eyes as he shifted his body in my direction. I turned my attention away from the window to look at him for a second time to see him staring hard at my face. Turning my attention back out of the window, I could feel a blush rise in my face that i wanted to go unnoticed.. Yep, I thought to myself, still gorgeous... It took a second to figure out the person behind me was trying to get my attention before he bumped me on the arm.

"You got your papers?" He asked in a strange tone.

"Papers?" I replied quickly confused.

"Your schedule." He asked again making sure I knew what he was asking for.

I handed him the sheet of paper as the other boys that sat around Calvin and myself leaned over to see.

"Wow. You take calculus? Man I heard that class was wicked hard." The stranger kiddy corner to me stated.

"Oh come on..." Calvin started. "An idiot can take that class."

"Then why aren't you in it?" The odd toned boy in front questioned.

They all howled in laughter as I looked back at Calvin. He had a small pink blush on his face as his eyes turned away from the group. I looked back at the others who i assumed must have been his friends. They talked for me for a little while while Calvin remarked with gruff and groans. The boy in front of me was named Ben and across from him was Ricky. There was another that joined the group and he sat in front of Ben. I later learned through our introductions that he was Jamie. They went on to tell me that Ricky and I shared History and that after that Calvin and I had gym together. Before we could go on with getting to know one another better, the bell rang signaling us that first period was over. I got up and gathered my things as I made my way to the door.

"See ya in third hour." Calvin's voiced called right behind my head.

Jumping quickly, not realizing he was this close, I turned around only to feel him plant a soft kiss on my lips and walked away. I stood there confused, trying my hardest to figure out what just happened. He just...but...why...what? I turned back to the door quickly to see his grin as he turned the corner. What the hell just happened?! I quickly decided this wasn't the time and violently tried to rub the blush off of my face. I will deal with this later. Running out of the door, I bumped into a body and softly said I was sorry looking up to see Catherine.
