Many people say that it's hard to forget many special and tragical memories. People say that they will always be in your mind whether you want them there or not, that's just how it works. But will they work for Riley?

I was sitting on a brown chair with my eyes closed with Caren in front of me. Caren is my Therapist. Ever since I woke up in the hospital I couldn't remember anything, well at least that's what a blonde girl told me. It's been one month and to this day I still don't remember anything to remember.

Caren: Try to remember all the memories you once had, Riley. It's not that hard, all you have to do it search in the back of your head.

I was searching. I truly was but there was nothing. I lost hope.

Riley: You don't get it Caren! I have been searching the back of my head for one month and I still haven't found anything!

Caren looked at me with disappointment in her eyes.

Caren: You have to search harder.

Riley: I can't, I'm sorry.

Caren sighed.

Caren: I promise, you'll remember but only if you keep a promise to not give up.

I looked to the ground looking at my black combat boots and then I looked up at Caren with a sad smile.

Riley: Ok.

Caren: Now, get out of here. I have another appointment in 10 minutes.

I quickly got up and left. I open the door to see the city with cars passing one by one. I started walking home through the crowded streets. I wish there was a faster way to get home.

I was walking up to my house when I saw a blonde girl sitting next to a bush......I think I know her, but what's her name????

Blonde Girl: Hey Riley.

Riley: Heyyyyyyy ummmm

The girl looked at me with a sad face but the replaced it with a fake smile.

Blonde Girl: It's Maya.

Riley: OH MAYA! That's right! You're the girl that was with me in that hospital room!!!

Maya: Ya, that's me.

Riley: So where's that tall blonde guy?

Maya: Oh, you mean Lucas? He's actually inside talking to your Father.

Riley: Oh? Anyways, you guys would look cute together!

Maya: Actually, we are working on the divorce papers.

Riley: Oh, I'm sorry. By the looks of it, it seemed like you guys were a happy couple.

Maya looks surprised by my comment so I quickly went by her and unlocked my home door and saw Lucas talking to my father just like Maya said.

Riley: Hey Daaaaaaad. Sorry I'm still getting used to it.

Cory: It's alright honey.

Riley: Oh, and hi Lucas.

Lucas quickly came up to me and hugged me tight.

Lucas: You remember me?

He left go of me.........oh this is awkward.

Riley: Actually, Maya told me your name outside.

He looked disappointed. Why is this all I do?! I always disappoint people! Like I'm trying to remember!

Riley: Sorry.

Lucas: Oh.

He quickly turned around and started talking to my dad again. Why are they even here? And why do I want them to leave?

Riley: Hey guys, sorry but I want to be alone. Is it possible for you guys to leave?

I know it sounded rude but I wanted to be alone as soon as possible.

Cory: Sure Sweetie. Come on Lucas, we'll drive in your car.

I walked them to the door and they walked down the steps to Lucas' car. I started to stare at the car, it had a huge dent at the front of it. It reminded me something but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Lucas POV

I saw Riley staring at the car. I hope she knows that this is the car where we got crashed.
