chapter 4- what is happening to me?

Aspen POV

I stared at the empty house thinking about her trying to figure out what I'm feeling and with every passing day I am more confused , I walked to my front garden and waited for her to pass by trying to figure out what's so special about her.

"Hi Aspen" She greeted me smiling and Amy waved

"Hi" I said as they walked away, it's so fun how she annoyed me by greetin me everytime she passed by like 12 to 10 times a day but now I'm eager to hear her greeting.

I took my bag and walked to school, I sat at my seat and waited for the teacher to come, I block the world around and stare at the empty chair beside me, I scanned the room and there's no Viviany.

"Hey, did you do homework?" someone asked me and I was shocked to see a complete stranger talking to me

"What?" I asked confused, I don't remember anything about homework

"Mr Simon gave us homework" she said

"Who is Mr Simon?" I asked

"English teacher" a guy said

"I didn't do it" I said

"Can you do it now" she asked

"I'll do it later" I said, great now people are trying to copy me, I am brought back to reality when I hear something hiting my table, I look up to see my english teacher.

"Sorry Mr, what did you say?" I said

"I asked you to go to the board and solve the homework in the board" He said, isnt it my luck day, first a couple of idiots disturb me then the teacher ask me to do a homework I don't even knowg, I stand up and walk taking the chalk

"Can anyone read the questions please?" I asked

A girl stands up and start reading like a two years old learning their first word a so far the only think I understood was how, and the classroom started to laugh as I stared blank at them and honestly I doubt that 95% of the people here can read, at least she tried and I really apreciate

"Thank you, teacher I can't understand anything. Can I borrow her exercise book?" I looked at the teacher and he spoke to the classroom in portuguese so they can understand and I took her exercise book.

"Hey just ignore them" I said winking at her

I solve the homework and sat down, the day went by and the last bell ringed and everyone was running away. I rolled my eyes at them

I went straight to Skylar's work and I saw her yelling at some workers and I think they're teachers and they looked terrified, she saw me staring at her from a far and finished the meeting walking out of the room to my direction and I can't run away

"Hey, I'm glad you come" she said coming forward, I backed away a little

"You know people here don't know how to do their work right" She said looking tired and I don't know what to say at times like this, I never saw her mad except for today

"Do you need help?" she asked smiling

"Yeah not right now" I said we sat in silence and chat a little and I noticed that it was getting dark so I said goodbye and walked away, I wish I could spend more time with her, nobody notices me and she's the only person that treats me like a human being not an invisible being.

I played a little with the dogs then I took a shower and eat after being ignore for the past hours I decided to sleep
