Long Gone

The eyes are not dark now,
And the lashes,they don't flutter,
The night robbed their darkness,
That I've been trying to save for later.

I've got my hair tied up
For now you are not here.
I refuse to let the waves play with it,
The way you did, before you disappeared.

Just like the frozen petals,
My lips are pale.
They part only to let out a sigh,
Which once held your smell.

The tipsy laugh that
You said, completed you;
Is the loneliest now,
Since the moment your echoes got sewed.

And the days I've been wanting,
Are not wanted anymore.
For the eyes which held my clearest reflection,
Are now closed forever more.
