I watched as my father yelled at my mother with screeching rage.   The veins popping out of his neck proved how furious he was.
"She can't fend for herself," My mother screeched, "and she is only five years old!"
"She is almost six.  " My father argued.   "We can just drop her off at a fire station.  "
"She is too old for that.  " My mother said.
I walked out into the kitchen with my empty cup.
"Mommy can you get me some more water?" I asked.
"Yes dear.  " She said.   She took my glass and filled it halfway with water.   She gave me a big hug and sent me off to bed.
I woke up to the sound of traffic.   I looked around.   I couldn't see anything.   I was scrunched up with my knees to my chest.   I tried to put my legs out in front of me but I couldn't.   There was something in front of them.   There was something all around me.   I was in a box.   I started panicking.   I pushed the sides of the box with my back, head, and legs.   My five year old body couldn't crack open this cardboard box.   I hyperventilate.
