I'm not an ordinary person. Nobody around here is. But I guess I stand out more than the others, considering I'm the only one from Earth. My name is Elina. I was brought to the tiny planet Shiyo about a month ago. A girl named Mira transported me here. I came here without knowing where I was going. Mira is the only known person who can pass between the two worlds unharmed. She can bring people through though. Once, someone tried to go without her. They came back as a sad Dryad. Dryads aren't too bad, but they can't speak, and they've forgotten who they were. They haven't been seen since. Other people have tested the portal, but they came back as a strange mythical creature. They either couldn't speak, hear, move, or be seen. Now it's time for the rest of the story. You see, the story I'm about to tell you is a very strange story. That's 'cause it's my story.
