Like Goku, Elias was sent to Earth before the destruction of his home planet, Planet Vegeta. 25 years have passed and Elias has met the Z fighters and even has his own rival, Mia. After Kid Buu's death, Elias feared that a opponent with a power greater that anything he has seen before would come to Earth. In response to this fear Elias decided to go in the hyperbolic time chamber. When Mia heard of his plan she decided to tag along. When Elias saw her at Kami's look out he was confused. When Mia told Elias that she was going with him he had told her no. After 15 minutes of arguing Elias thought it would be better if he had a sparring parter that was as strong as him. Soon they opened the door and walked in.
