Destiel- The kiss

I walked through the small town that my father had taken us to, looking around. It was actually quite beautiful, with blue Sky's, a beautiful lake just to the west of the town, beautiful trees, animals, people, the nicest people you could imagine. The best thing about it was that it was quiet. No loud parties, no loud people, no crimes. It was peaceful. I loved it. I wanted to settle down here one day with my little brother sammy, my boyfriend cas, which I didnt get to see often, his brother gabriel, the whole crew. I wanted so desperately to get away from my abusive father and live somewhere like this, And that's just what I would do.

(TIME SKIP TO ABOUT  TEN YEARS LATER)

I snuggled up on the couch, with Castiel in my arms. everything was so perfect, I had settled down just as planned with my brother, his boyfriend, and my long time boyfriend Castiel. He was everything I wanted and more.  We had decided to settle in a small town I once visited when I was younger. The sky's were blue, the lake was just to the west, beautiful animal and plant life, and the nicest people you'll ever meet. The thing that wasn't quiet about this once thought to be quiet town was the racket going on upstairs. If only it wasnt from my brother and his boyfriends room. "God damnit, not again." I shook my head and cas chuckled, getting up and leaving me craving his warm embrace again. "Well, I dont know about you but I dont want to hear that" cas said, and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the door. "Trust me, me either." I chuckled, grabbed my coat, and we were out the door. I jumped into the drivers seat of the impala and cas jumped in the passengers side.
      "Where are we going dean?" Castiel asked, tilting his head a bit. I thought about it for a second and thought of somewhere we could go.
       "Well, I guess you'll see when we get there." I said and took a blindfold that gabe had given us for Christmas last year as a joke. His exact words were
      "Because when you two are fucking I wouldn't want to see dean's face either" we all had a good laugh about it. We had never used it, so I took it and put it gently around Castiels face and whispered in his ear " keep it on until I say to take it off, okay?" I sweetly whispered. He nodded, and smiled. I rested my hand in his and we drove off. Talking for the whole time, Castiel asking me where we were going several times. The final time headed, I parked the car in a parking lot of a resteraunt called " Jude's  bistro " and got out of the car nd going over to Castiels side, opening the door for him. "We're here!" I exclaimed, taking off his blindfold. He looks to the restaurant and back to me. "Dean! You didn't have to do this!" He exclaimed. "Of course I did. It's your favorite restaurant, isn't it?" I chuckled and pulled his out of the car.
      "Yes, it is. I love you dean." he says and wraps his arms around my neck, and pulls me down to kiss me. I pecked him on the lips, and even though we had been together 11 years, I still felt butterflies everytime we kiss. "I love you too bee."I said and pulled away, walking with him hand in hand into the restaurant. It was quite small but it was still a beautiful restaurant with great food. We walked in, looking around a bit before Walking up to the front desk. The walls were painted a light blue color, and with the sky now becoming dark there were small trees and plants lining the walls to the restaurant lit up with white Christmas lights. There was a bar in the far corner, restrooms to the right of where we walked in and a front desk sitting to the side of us. "Hello gentlemen, a table for two?" The lady at the front desk greeted, smiling at us. I hadn't realised at first, but it was a girl I went to highschool with named charlie. "Charlie? Is that you?" I asked in astonishment. She smiled.
    "In the flesh. " She smirked and came around the counter. She engulfed me in a tight hug. "Dean winchester, finally got a man I see." She chuckled. "I had one when we went to the same highschool, you just didnt believe me. Well, this is the mysterious mr. Soon to be Castiel winchester." I smiled and her jaw dropped. Castiel tilted his head to the side in confusion. "Omg you're engaged!" She exclaimed as Castiels confusion deepened. "But dean we arent-" he was cut off when I got on one knee. "Castiel James Novak, we have been together eleven years now and its seemed like time has flown by, you've stuck with me through all of my moves, all of the darkest times, and I stuck by you through your darkest times. I truly believe that you're the man I was meant to be with.  Castiel, will you marry me?" I asked, shaking hands pulling out a small black box I had hidden in my coat pocket. Tears started to roll down his cheeks as he said "yes dean, of course I'll marry you." And my heart exploded. charlie was practically screaming but that was soon nothing but a distant sound as I slipped the right onto Castiels finger and he took my cheeks in his hand, and kissed me. It was the best kiss of my life, one that sent me spiraling. No one was around us, not a screaming charlie, not anyone. The kiss that made my engagement was that kiss. "I love you" I whispered as I pulled away. "Now let's go get some food, huh?" I asked and Castiel chuckled.
