"I'm going to school mom" I yell heading outside towards my car not waiting for her response. I jump into my red convertible speed to my old red stoned high school that's younger than some of the teachers who work there, leaving a trail of dust behind me. Parked in my usual parking spot in the center of the lot my fellow cheerleader "friends" swarm me, I am after all the captain of the team.
"Talia do you like my new lipstick" Rachel asks me as we head towards the rustic building away from the parking lot.
I honestly couldn't care less about Rachel's bright red lipstick that made her look like a clown but i plaster on a fake smile and say "It looks fab on you" She smiles at that. I look around for my bffl spotting her almost immediately, Rachel was bombarding her with the lipstick question too but unlike me Allie isn't that great of a liar. I quickly step in and whisk Allie away.
"Thanks Talia i don't think i could've lied to that clown" She exclaims with a hint of laughter.
"My thoughts exactly Allie" By then we were in an uncontrollable fit of laughter.
After school Allie and I decide to go to the mall and get an outfit for Drake's party! Even if we don't get it today it's still a week away so we arn't in any rush.We jump into my red convertible and race over to the only mall in town. Once we get to in the mall we first stop at Starbucks and grab two spiced pumpkin lattes.
"Talia want to go to Forever 21 first?" Allie asked looking over at me.
"Yeah sure, I love Forever 21!" We sipped our lattes as we make our way towards the store.
"Look at that infinity sign necklace Allie it is so cute" I said smiling :)
"Totally! you deffinately need to get it!" Allie gushed. That's what I love about Allie she is always so fun and bubbly not to mention her great sense of style!
"So Talia Did Jacob ask you to Drake's party yet?" She asked smiling knowingly nudging me. I laugh slightly before replying.
"Well no.." I say blushing. Honestly everyone says me and Jake would make such a good couple but I don't even know him that well. Don't get me wrong though Jake is hot...
"What's he waiting for than?" Allie pondered as we looked through the dress racks without much luck.
"Look at this pretty one" I joke holding up a super ugly dress.
"It's gorgous!! I'm so going to wear that" Allie said completely serious before bursting out laughing, I couldn't help but join in. After about five more minutes we decide to leave after I pay for my necklace and Allie pays for some sparkly bangles she found.
At the end of the day we didn't end up finding any dresses but Allie found a sparkly clutch and I found a pair of silver stilettos. All and all it was an okay trip to the mall.

The next day was pretty uneventful I had cheer leading practice and...JACOB ASKED ME TO BE HIS DATE TO DRAKE'S PARTY! I tried to text Allie to tell her during History class but my phone got confiscated. I tried to reason with my teacher but it was no use. The end of the week was approaching and I still haven't gotten a dress yet. It need to be extra pretty now that I am going with Jacob! Good thing money isn't an issue. That's the beauty of having a successful fashion designer mom and a lawyer dad.
When I got home at the end of the day I was surprised with an always smiley Allie on my doorstep holding a light pink pastel dress that ends at the knees with a thin silver belt at the waist.
"It's for you!" She said happily.
"Allie It's gorgeous but I can't take it, it must have cost a fortune!" I exclaimed.
"Talia we both know that moneys not an issue!" She said exasperated. Allie's mother and father are orthodontists.
"Thanks so much Allie it's perfect! I'll help you find the perfect dress too!" I promised her.
