I rubbed
the golden toes
of the bronze statues at Boulder
--Near Boulder anywayI guess the toes weren't golden
But caressed yellow
by countless epithelials
numerous fingers
Thousands upon millions of tourists
Praying for good fortuneThe smooth concrete slope
double black diamond, at the very least
avalanche cascading
if there ever was snow
but where is snow in a desert
A desert
With two bronze statues
With amarillo toes

PuisiSimilar to one of my previous stories because it is about life, but different because this is poetry. Sort of.
