1st person Pov

I ran down one of the many alleyways of this crappy town. Another shitty gang was trying to recruit me and had threatened to kill me if i hadn't joined. So after throwing a knife at one of the idiots, they tried to shoot me so I ran.

"Get that little brat!" I heard a man in a scratchy voice yell from behind. I turned around still running to see a man standing at the other side of the alley screaming at his partners.

"Sorry but this brat has to go!" I said before I boosted myself off a wall and jumped the fence, that was suppose to be a dead end. A shot rang out and I felt a sharp pain in my arm. I cried out for a second but ignored the pain as I ran from the alley and into the back of a restaurant.

The type of pistol they used was all too familiar for me. It was a CZ 24. They same gun that killed my family...

Flashback to 12 years ago*

It was raining, thunder boomed and lighting lashed out from the sky. I was in my room playing with my little sister Ivy, it was around 8pm when my mom came in to sing us our lullaby like she always does. Her lullaby was a very special part of our family and without it me and my sister couldn't sleep. Though, tonight seemed off. Mom seemed finicky and scared.

"Mommy wats wong?" I asked patting her face.

"Nothing sweetheart. Mommy and Daddy are just having a fight with some... Friends." She said hesitantly but kind.

"Oh ok!" I said oblivious to all evil.

"Mommy are gowing to swing your swong?" My sister said adorably to my mother. A loud bang rang throughout the house, though it wasn't thunder. My mother seemed to panic.

"No no, mommy can't tonight." She said her voice shaking. My father ran into the room and shut the door quickly. Feeling uneasy from my parents reactions made me hide in the closet that was close to where me and my sister were sitting. I looked threw the blinds of the door and saw the banging of my bedroom door.

The door flew open with a bang and three men with butterfly logos on there matching black clothes came in carrying rifles and handguns. I watched my mother hold my sister close and my father stand in front of them.

"Just give us what we want dirtbag!" One of the men yelled aiming his gun at my dad.

"I will never give you the necklace! I've hid it somewhere safe where you'll never find it." My father yelled. One of the men growled and that's when the shots rang out and my father dropped to his chest, blood pouring out from his wounds. They were now pointing there guns at my mom and sister.

"Wat did you do to my dwaddy!" My sister yelled crying.

"Aww sorry Hun your father was in the way. And so are you," one of the men said pointing CZ 24 at my mother and sister. Four shots, that's how many rang out before both my mother and sister lay unmoving on the floor.

The men began scavenging though the house and when they're stupidity got the best of the I grabbed the money my parents "hid" in the closet and jumped out of the window, screaming and crying once I was far enough that I wasn't heard.

Flashback end*

I was so naive back then. Ever since that day I've scouted for that butterfly logo in search of revenge.

I took off the bandanna around my wrist and put it on the gunshot wound on my arm. After the coast was clear I left the back of the building and actually went inside. The bartender in the front was a monster and you could tell that because he was literally made out of fire.

Oh speaking of monsters, I later found out that they were one of the reasons that gang got associated with my parents. When the monsters were freed from the Underground there was a mass amount of war fair between people and monsters. My parents supported the monsters and wished for them to win their freedom. Now I'm not saying because of this I hate monsters, in fact I'm the complete opposite. I wish to fulfill my parents wishes and help the monsters.

"(Fries/burger) please," I said to the being. He nodded and began to work silently. Two skeletons came over and sat beside me. There was the one that was incredibly tall and the other was short and had a shit-eating grin. The short one looked over at me probably noticing who I was or at least my nickname. See, I carry on my parents legacy by respecting monsters but I carry on my sisters legacy by nicknaming myself Poison Ivy.

"So Miss (Y/N) what're you doing here?" The short one said. I looked at him confused.

"How do you know my name?" I snapped.

"Do you want me to call you Miss Ivy instead?" He asked. I put a confused face on.

"Miss who know?" I said in fake confusion.

"Don't act like a numbskull," he said making a horrible pun. But I couldn't help but smile.

"Sorry, I don't know who this Ivy character is, but I do know that your puns are getting under my skin," I said making a pun back. His grin widened.

"Well we'll see about that," he said
