I was so excited. I couldn't contain my happiness any longer. The one thing I've wanted to do since I was a little kid was see Disturbed live in concert, and thanks to my cousin, Kaycee, I was finally able to do that. "You ready to go?" My thoughts were interrupted by Kaycee looking down at me. I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and returned her gaze. "Yes, definitely!" I exclaimed. Not only had we gotten tickets for the concert, but they were backstage passes. 'I finally get to meet David Draiman!!!' I thought. I had loved David since I was 13. I'm 20 now, and Kaycee's 18. I grabbed my keys, my phone, and a picture I drew of David for him to autograph and we went out the door. We arrived at the venue, which was outside, and we got front row. When we got there, there was barely any people, so I decided to get some bottles of water while we wait. Kaycee stayed behind. I finally found a place where you could buy water and stood in line. I got two bottles and went back to find Kaycee. I was still in a daze about meeting David that I bumped into someone.
"Oh! I'm so sorry. I really need to pay attention." I said, really embarrassed. "Oh its fine, I wasn't paying attention either." The person replied. It was a man's voice, and a voice I recognized instantly. I looked up at him. "Oh my god! Y-you're D-David Draiman!" I managed to get out. There he was, in all his magnificence. "Yes I am. And you are?" He asked, smiling that beautiful smile of his. "B-Brenda." I said, still in shock. "Well it was lovely meeting you, but I have a show to start, and you have a show to see, if I'm not mistaken." He stated. He smiled again, and he walked toward the stage. I walked back in the direction of Kaycee, eager to tell her all about this encounter.
I returned to my cousin and handed her the water bottle. "Why are you blushing?" She asked. "I met David. I literally bumped into him on my way back." I explained. We all got quiet as the concert began. Mike, Fuzz, and Dan walked out on stage. David followed shortly after, holding a microphone. "Hello, Atlanta!!!" He yelled into the mic. The crowd clapped and cheered him on. "This first song, I would like to dedicate to someone I met just a few minutes ago." He winked at me. Kaycee playfully nudged my arm. "This one's called Stricken!" He exclaimed, and the song began. The concert was amazing. They played several songs, and ended with my favorite, Down With The Sickness. David moved around the stage, but instead of staying towards the center, he hovered around me and Kaycee. It was time to go backstage, so me and Kaycee walked with everyone else to the designated area, and waited to meet the band.
