So Stupid

I flopped on my bed, tired. We had finally just got settled in our new house. Well, I just got settled. Why did even have to move here? It's so dumb. I had to change schools, and I dumped Lewis, and left Cassie behind. I missed them already.

"Madeline!" My mom came in. "Sweetie, get some sleep, I know that you don't like it here yet, but I'm sure after a week or two at school, you'll forget about Lewis and Cassie."
"I won't." I answered quickly.
"Of course you will. But, that's the past, you'll get a new bff, and boyfriend.. or girlfriend! I don't judge!"
"Mom... I'm straight!" I yelled.
"Oh okay, well get some sleep, Dad will drive you to school. Still sorry about the move have a good day! I love you!" She left.

I put up my hair, and quickly brushed my teeth. I gave my parents kisses, and went to bed. I felt the covers surround me and sighed. This school better be good...

~Time Skip~

Travis' P.O.V.
I watched as Andre teased Veronica about something she was hiding.
"Tell me Ronnie!"
"Nah... it's funny watching you pry!" She spat.
"Tell me or else I'll tell everyone you wore diapers till you were eleven."
She gasped. "Find, there's a new girl, coming from Glendale...."
"What? Is she cute?" Andre asked.
"She has short brown hair, and she's--"
"I like her already!" Andre said.

I began tuning those two out, Andre and I had been friends since Elementary, that's when Veronica's parents adopted him. It was obvious one I'd them were adopted, since they looked nothing alike. Andre had dark black hair, and tan skin while Veronica had long brunette hair, and pale skin. I was lost in my train of thought, and then I saw the doors open to a cute girl with short brown hair.

Madeline's P.O.V.
I walked in the front door, and a boy grabbed my hand, and pinned me to the wall.

"Hey gorgeous." He said, "what are you doing?" I watched his blazing blue eyes look at me, blazing with some emotion I couldn't read.
"Um, gross." I shoved him off me, and two other people looked at me like i was crazy, a brunette girl walked by a tan bit who, I must admit, was crazy cute.
"Wow, that was weird."
"Back off!" I snapped.
"Loosen up." He snorted.

All I did was glare and walk off. That dude was so rude. All I wanted was.. Lewis. I found my first class, and sat in the back. I noticed kids with their phones out, and took out mine to check Instagram.
The_Real_Lewie_Dude725 deleted all of his pictures with me in it, instead, Cassie and him were.... dating?! No... I have to text her.

'hey cass.' I sent.
'uh hi.'
'why so upset?'
'no reason.'
'come on, we're bffs....'
'so?'
'were tell each other everything.'
'creepy.'
'what's with you? Also, why are you dating Lewis?'
'nothing's with me, and I've dated him, he liked me not you.'
'?'
'he was cheating on you with me. Duh.'
'... never speak a word to me again.'

I locked my phone, and signed out. I went in the hall, and bawled. Turns out, Mom was right. I don't want to go back. I saw the brunette boy that flirted with me earlier. He was next to the tan one also.

"Hey Madeline. Can I call you Maddie?" He asked.
"If you tell me your name." I said between sobs.
"Travis. What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Don't play that game. It's a game middle schoolers play, they say that until the other one drags out the truth so just speak up." He smirks.
"It's just my old school. They just... it's a long story."
"We have all school year, mads."
"My ex best friend, was dating my ex boyfriend."
"So your mad she dated your ex?" Travis asked.
"No... she dated him, while I dated him."
"Oh. That's just, I'm sorry. We got off the wrong foot. Please forgive me." He hugged me.
"It's fine. Everyone can't have a perfect relationship."
"You wanna hang with Andre and I at the park? He has to bring his sister, and her friend, but I think you'll get along. She's nice to people, not Andre, Cuz they're related."
"Sounds fun." I smiled.

I was happy to have some new friends. Lewis and Cassie could be happy without me. I don't need them anymore. I thought my life was perfect, but, it's not. Maybe LarenScope High school had it all for me. I mean, Travis and Andre were cute... but, can i trust them? I trusted Cassie... I guess I'll wait and see....
