Cara quickly took in the man's appearance. Oddly tall with brown eyes and square glasses, messy black raven hair, light facial hair and definitely looked like a doctor or scientist, she concluded. The white laboratory coat gave it away but as she deafened the conversation between her parents and man she begun to realise he had to be a doctor. 'Dr Winston Smith' was sewed into the pocket of the white coat.
She winced as she felt a sharp pinch on her elbow. She looked up to her mother who looked flushed, either from how handsome the doctor looked or the fact that cara hasn't said a word. "Cara, he asked you a question..." Her mother's smile was tight but her eyebrows were raised. A common faked facial expression Cara has noticed from her mother over the years.
"Don't worry Mrs Delevingne, most patients are unresponsive at first but that's why you sent her here. We'll make her normal, it is our job." The tall doctor widely grinned. However she noticed his smile didn't looked forced like he truly believed what he was saying which scared her. As she is normal, can't he tell?
"Now say your goodbyes and we'll take her in. As it's dark outside and patients curfew was an hour ago." Dr Winston Smith gestured. Cara looked down to her shoes as she didn't want to say goodbye. She noticed how her feet were only about 2 inches from the inside of the building but she felt like there was a barrier keeping her out.
"Tiger we'll..."Cara didn't let her father finish as she used all of her willpower to walk forward ; straight into the place that she knew she didn't belong. She turned to the Dr Winston Smith and begged "Please shut the door". Strangely enough he nodded and without a complaint he did. To which her father's voice and her mother's shocked face was closed off along with the rest of the world.
