I exited my car, and locked it with my keys. I had not been prepared for such cold weather, and had only brought a t-shirt and jeans. I stuffed my hands into my pockets and breathed a visible cloud of air.
I stepped in front of the double metal doors that led into the famous Fazbears Pizzeria."There are so many rumors about this place." I mumbled to myself, sticking my keys in the lock, slowly creaking the door open.
Pitch black darkness was dead ahead of me, and I could see only the drawings of children on the side of the wall from the incoming moonlight.
Remembering what the man on the phone told me to bring, I grabbed my flashlight and clicked it on, illuminating the hallway.
I took my first step in, and immediately it was twice as cold as it was outside, almost like in a freezer. Maybe it's to keep the animatronics from overheating in the night.
Shivering, I walked through the hallway silently other than my dress shoes clacking loudly against the tile floor.
I ended up throwing my shoes off and putting them on a table at the entrance.
I reached into my pocket and grabbed my phone and pulled up the map the phone guy sent to me of the place, finding my way towards the work room. I plopped down on the chair and went to my text messages and pulled up my friend Aaron.
Typing, I said "Yo Im at the Pizza place man if u wanna come u can, gonna be super bored and we can get some chicks over here."
Silence.
Out of the blue, my phone blared it's notification tone at max volume, echoing throughout the building. I freaked out and dropped my phone. I reached down to grab it as Aaron texted back.
"Lolz that sounds gr8 be over in about 10 min"I smirked.
A whirring sound pierced the silence. I looked up from my phone and took my feet off the desk. I leaned closer to see through the dark hallway. I grabbed my flashlight a clicked it on.
A shadowy figure dashed behind the corner before I got a look at it's face.
I turned my head in confusion. "I bet Aaron knew I would be here and followed me already. That little sneak is trying to scare me." I grinned, "More than one can play that game." I thought.
I got up from my desk chair and went in front of my desk when I heard a clang inside the vent.
"Just a rat." I said out loud after standing for a few seconds, waiting.
I decided that I too would have to play it sneaky so Aaron wouldn't see me. He'll flip when he realizes I'm not there anymore.
I peeked around the corner and a dim light illuminated an area labled-
-Storage Room.
Obviously his hiding spot, I crouched and lightened my footsteps as I traveled beside the door, dead silent with just socks.
I put just my head around the corner and saw one of those creepy animatronic things lying there. It's body was blue with bunny ears, with its face disassembled. I shivered. A man was standing in front of it, tinkering.
What was Aaron doing..? I stepped inside quietly without him noticing, and put my hand up about to poke him when I realized. Why was Aaron all purple? Probably trying to fit with the shadows.
An inch away from touching Aaron, I heard something coming from the entrance. I turned around towards the door.
"Hey Jonah! It's me, and I brought some pizza for us! Where are you?" Said Aaron's voice.
But, Aaron was in front--
I turned around and the figure was no longer in the room, instead, the animatronic was dead ahead.
It's eyes flashed red, and it's arms began to move, pushing itself up. When it got to its full height, it was almost nine feet tall. It loomed over me with its eyes focused directly on me. I was frozen in fear, but when I heard Aaron call again, it knocked a memory into me.
The phone guy spoke to me. "Now remember, these animatronics have this new technology that allows them to access the criminal database and use face recognition to determine whether or not your an itruder, so you should feel safe around them. But... It has had its glitches with the last guard.."
The animatronics eyes sent sparks out and flashed a bright red. A loud screech came from he animatronics mouth. "It thinks I'm an intruder!" I thought, backing away.
I backed into a corner, and the animatronic walked up to me, and tried to grab me, but out of instinct I ducked, grabbed it's bulky legs, and pulled myself through.
I threw myself back up and ran towards the entrance, where Aaron was, we needed to get out now!
