Like all dogs, pit bulls have misconceptions. I mean, dachshunds are supposed to be aggressive towards children... They're not. Golden retrievers are supposed to be great family dogs, however, they have one of the most highest attack ratings in the USA. Unfortunately, for pit bulls, people have gone so far as to banning them from large areas in the hopes of preventing the stereotypical aggressive behavior that they have witnessed. Now what they haven't witnessed is Kye, a purebred pit bull that snuggles with special needs kids while his owner takes care of them as a pediatric nurse. They also haven't experienced every other pit bull that the Matthews couple has adopted from the local shelter. Pit bulls are loving, trainable, family friendly, dogs whose main purpose is not dog fighting, but to be loved by those who can see past their big, tough guy, look.
