Right after school, I change back into sweatpants and lay on my bed, to do homework. Today was such a strange and very long day. I'm not going to lie, Tony Reynolds has been on my mind all day. His body, his hair, his eyes...why my brother has forbidden me to associate with him.

A knock at my bedroom door interrupts my thoughts. "Come in," I announce as I sit up on my bed.

"Heyyyy," Abigail says flirtatiously.

I laugh. "What are you doing here?"

"Seriously? THE PARTY!"

I scratch my head. "Oh.. Yeah about that, Ab I don't think I'm-"

"Don't be ridiculous. We are going."
Abigail pulls on my arm to get me out of bed. I follow her and sit at my desk, looking at myself in the mirror.  "I'll be right back."'Abigail leaves only to return a moment later. "Put this on." I do as commanded. I slip on black high waisted shorts, revealing a small portion of my ass, with a solid white tank  top. Abigail adds waves to my hair and puts on smoky eyeshadow. I actually look decent. Hell, I look hot. I throw on some pumps as me and Abigail head downstairs and to the party.

We manage to escape without allowing my brother or my mother to interrogate me. In the meantime, the car ride with me and Abigail is mostly quiet. I have too much on mind to make small talk with Abigail. I'm actually nervous for my first high school party. What am I getting myself into? What will it even be like? A million things are running through my head at a million miles a minute when Abigail announces," We're here!" She jumps out of the car as I slowly follow her.

The Turner house is absolutely massive. I've never seen a house so big before, even as hundreds of sweaty teenagers fill the outside and inside of the property. Sensing my nervousness, Abigail grabs my hand and leads me into the kitchen. "Why don't you grab something to drink and I'll be right back?"

"Ab you can't-"

"I promise I'll be right back." Abigail turns and runs off with her friends. Great. Now I'm alone at my first party. I grab a bottle of water from the cooler and casually lean against the counter. "Alexis Andrews!" I look up and immediately smile by the face who greets me.

"Hey Tony!"

"Glad you could make it."

I fake smile. "Me too."

Tony raises his eyebrows. "But you came alone?"

I shake my head. "Not exactly."

Tony offers me his hand. "Would you like to dance then?"

"Why the hell not?"I accept his hand and allow him to lead me out to the dance floor. I'm freaking out on the inside because I've actually never danced with a guy before either. I know. Lame.

I just sway back and forth, not really knowing what the hell to do. Tony senses my hesitation, so he leans in really close to me and says,"You can sit down if you want."

"Um.. I'll probably just go find my Abby." I turn around abruptly and hit someone so hard I fall straight on my ass. Great. The first time I go to a party I embarrass the mess out of myself.

I look up to see my victim. It's a tall, very built guy which is revealed by his tight t-shirt. His brown hair is the perfect length and it brings out his blue eyes that sparkle when he laughs... He's laughing at me!

"I'm...I'm so sorry," I stammer.

"You should be," He laughs.

"Bro, watch your damn mouth," Tony yells as he grabs my hands and helps me up.

"Tell your girlfriend to watch where she's going."

Tony shoves him. "Jake, I'm not kidding, knock it off!"

Jake smirks right at me. "You're right, she's not worth it anyway." Just like that, he turns and walks away.

Tears begin to fill my eyes and I run out of the room. I hear Tony call my name from behind, but I don't turn back. I find the bathroom and lock myself in it. I can't believe I was humiliated at my first party. The words Jake said to me
keep replaying in my head...

She's not worth it anyway.

I'm so crazy busy, but I should be doing more updates now!

How will the party affect Alexis? Why was Jake so rude and who even is he?
