"Hina? Hina! HINA!!!"
"YEs! Mother!" I said in a teasing kind of way with a hint of irritation on my face.
"Koe Ha? Hurry up Come here before I slap your-"
"Mom! OK! Sheesh! Im coming!" I finally got off my facebook talking with my favorite cousins in the world, Sina, Kialoha, Jr., and the Twins. I woke up this morning feeling crappy, because crappy John moved us to Nowhere with no other relatives. Damn! My room is upstairs, its almost noon and I haven't gotten out yet. I have a normal size bed and a normal cozy cream like wall. Just like a normal person, but a normal person does not have a balcony that's big enough to build 2 more rooms. Hey! I like my view, my balcony and everything faces the beach, which I love. Mom didn't want me to tell me but my step-dad John wanted me to have this side because of how I used to live in a place surrounded by the ocean my whole life. I guess I gotta' love him for that!
I descended that stairs and as soon as I saw the BEST PEOPLE I have ever laid my eyes on....
"SINA!!!"
"LOHA!!!"
"Jr.!!!!"
"AND lets not Forget the TWINS!!!!!!"
"OH! my Goodness...How did you get here?!?!?!" I screamed like a jubbacabra, as if I ever heard or seen one...hahaha!!!
Loha which by the way is short for Kialoha, she has a big smile on said,"Um! Uncle John paid for our tickets!"
Man! Now, I feel like a BIG FAT JERK! Thanks a lot!
"OH! And that's not the only news...He has made some few calls and got our parents to agree to have us stay here for College." The one the twin who is the oldest, Rangi blurted music to my heart.
"And..." the younger twin Tupou trailed of to build my curiousity, then what seems like forever she said, " We are staying with you!!!"
My mom was standing there the whole time, I didn't notice at all. Hahaha! Oops! I looked at her and asked very guiltily towards my behavior towards John, I said, " Mom? You not lying to me? Cuz you always do this things to me...This ain't a prank?"
Mom just rolled her eyes and was about to walk away and I yelled towards her, " Mom? Where's your phone?"
She turned around to me with a eyebrow raised, giving me that mom look to reveal what you are hiding from her. She asked," Why?"
I just told her with a loving smile, while holding on to me cousins with one arm, "To say my peace with a certain someone!"
She knew who I was going to call and she just coughed her phone out for me and I started dialing. As I was on the phone I helped my cousins to my room and the boys to their room. I guess Dylan my Hawaiian Brother, he has been my childhood friend and graduated together, he is coming with Teki my other cousin who is two years older then me but a year older then Dylan. Teki and Dylan they played for the same little league Football and wrestling together in high school. They are here for the week to help unpack some few things and hang out with us, before school starts which is 2 months from now. So for now its five girls and three guys...yeah! the girls won. Hahaha!
"Oh! Mahina...this is an unexpected surprise? What do you need?" John said in a loving and concerned way as a parent should be.
"Um...! I don't want to sound like a brat but Thank you so much! I was a big fat jerk to you! Fakamolemole aupito!!!" I guiltily admit even though I was choking the whole time, because I don't like saying sorry for something like this.
John didn't hesitate but he did sigh a relief which made me feel at ease. And he said, "Its alright Mahina I just want you to be happy, because if your unhappy and your mom is unhappy. I hate seeing you both so lovely being so gloomy. And this is a new sleight, I wont be replacing your dad but I am willing to love you like one."
