Lu'au: Meeting and Mending

A week later....

The day was fun, a lot of people showed up to Mahina and her families' New home Lu'au. The volleyball game was average, not a lot where a competition but atleast they knew how to play. And Dinner was fun for the Feathersons and the rest of the family, because they were complimented 24/7 on how good it was. People were surprised that they were offered to take home plates or trays. But they Where anticipating on the dancing performance part.

"Aloha Everyone!!! I'm John Featherson, your new town family. We are glad that you can come and have fun with us. Here is my Beautiful wife Moana, she is Tongan and Hawaiian with her Daughter Mahina-Koula they moved to live with me from Hawaii here in that states. Here we have Riley and Hope our kids born in the states they will be attending Junior high here!"

Everyone clapped and smiled. While on the stage Mahina noticed several disturbing fimiliar eyes staring at her not so happy. She tried her best to ignore it and kept on smiling.

"Now we will let my Beautiful daughter Hope here start us off with a Hula from Lilo and Stitch!" My mother announced and everyone was ecstatic. While Mahina went around the stage and met up with her cousins they whispered as if they were gossiping.

"Guess who is here to ruin the party?" Sina motioned me to look who is here.

"I know...Help me get dress, I'm Next!" Mahina saw Sam and the pack just surprise and having the negative vibe going on. She brushed it off as she went inside to change and came out.

"Our next number is My other Beautiful daughter Mahina-Koula, her name was thoughtfully picked by her family in Tonga. Which means Golden Moon, because of the their old beliefs about her 18th century great-grandfather was said to be the husband of the Goddess of the Moon. Having powers, tonight I hope you can see the power of her movements and the movements of her ancestors who can help us all see the beauty they posses inside. Please give it a hand to Mahina and her cousins!" My mom announced,

Her dance was flawless and majestic, it was mixed with the old and the new. She did a full Tongan number, then a very graceful hula as a joined group, and then the boys did a very booming New Zeakand haka. The crowd went wild and scared...Hmhmhm! Its funny to watch their faces. Then we had two Tahitian dance, a whole group and then a solo-couple, which Mahina did with Dylan. At the end of the Tahitian number they had to pick a partner and everything went so fast for Mahina that she didn't realize she was standing in front of Paul. She looked around and people were staring. OH! What the Hell!! She said and took him inside the circle. When everyone did their turn to shake, it was us I told him to watch the others and man! it was funny but he was better then most. Now he can't stop staring, maybe he is still mad about me taking away his gift.

"Ok! Everyone... Now we have our last number Performing a Samoan dance by the group and the Taupou (sp?) would be performed by Sina, Mahina's cousin. And we will end with this and later just party with us and chat or go home!"

Sina did a wonderful job, I love my cousin! She is so beautiful in her costume and everything. Everyone laughed, cheered, and absolutely had fun. The night was almost perfect!

"Um...Hina? Its me Jacob from town!" He said with a winning smile.

I hugged him with my island flower poking at his face, and my yellow Puletasi brightening up the place. "OH! Yeah! Hi!"

"This is Bella and her In-laws the Cullen family!" He introduced and by his side was a girl who was too young yet matured.

I Hugged them all, some of them gave me a weird look. I forgot, "Sorry! Where I come from you give people hugs...if not then, I'm just a huggable person!"
