Harry

"Mate, you can't be depressed about Diana going out today with that guy she met yesterday," Niall said as we walked down the streets, towards Times Square.

"Well, I can't help it," I replied with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Hey, isn't that Diana?" Liam asked, pointing across the street.

I slid my sunglasses down the bridge of my nose a little, seeing if it really was her. And it was. She laughed at something that idiot, Damien, said. Diana looked so gorgeous, wearing a grey t-shirt and black jean shorts. She had blank ankle high Converse on her feet, one of her favorite pairs of shoes that she owned.

She looked like a supermodel, even wearing that. "Harry," Zayn said, pulling me out of looking at Diana.

"Sorry," I mumbled, running a hand through my hair and making it more of a quiff.

"Looks like they're heading to Times Square too," Louis observed as Diana and Damien kept walking. "Maybe we should give them a surprise visit. Maybe a... surprise performance, too?"

"Lou, we're not performing in Times Square," Liam groaned.

"Why not? It'd be great!" Louis exclaimed.

"I think we should do it," I agreed, determined to keep an eye on Diana.

"No, we aren't performing just to get Diana to notice Harry," Liam said, shaking his head.

"C'mon, Li," Niall said, turning slightly to face him.

 "Let's perform," Zayn added.

 "Pretty please?" Louis asked.

Liam glanced around at all of us, most likely thinking of everything that could go wrong if we did this. He sighed, dropping his head and slightly shaking it.

 "Fine," he mumbled.

All of us cheered and we continued walking to Times Square. We got there about five minutes later, seeing the practically empty bleachers.

"So, we're thinking up there, yeah?" I asked, pointing to them.

 "I guess," Louis shrugged.

"How are people supposed to hear us? We aren't loud enough over all this noise," Liam said, looking around us at the cars and flashing billboards.

"I think we can work something out," Niall said.

"I know someone who could help us," Louis teased, mischievously smirking. We all raised our eyebrows at him. He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "It's someone who could get us microphones and some amps."

"Oh," we all said in unison, knowing that he wasn't thinking of something illegal.

Somehow, in a few minutes, Louis presented all of us with mics and amps. We didn't ask how, just went to the bleachers and set everything up.

"So, we're playing without music?" Liam asked.

"No, took care of that, too," Louis said, looking at me and winking.

"What are we singing?" I asked.

The music started playing near us, and we immediately recognized it as 'I Would'. As Liam started singing, I spotted Diana in the crowd, her sunglasses on and a small smile on her face. She was to the left of the center, slightly in the front row.

"He drives to school every morning

While I walk alone in the rain

He'd kill me without any warning

If he took a look in my brain," I sang, glancing over at Diana every once in a while.

She looked down at the ground, then back to me.

There was a large crowd already, more people coming every second. It was weird to think that we were this popular. Diana's arms were crossed over her chest and Damien bent down to say something to her. She smiled, laughing a little as she slid her sunglasses up, keeping her eyes on us.

She suddenly moved forward, walking up the steps and standing beside me. Zayn glanced over at her, smiling a little.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is our good friend, Diana. I think she would like to sing something," Zayn announced, gesturing to Diana.

She rolled her eyes as I handed her the microphone. It was at the chorus when she started singing. She had an amazing voice, like an angel.

"Would she say she's in L-O-V-E

Well, if it was me, then I would, I would

Would she hold you when you're feeling low

Baby, you should know that I would," she said, using a female version of the song.

The boys and I joined in on the next chorus, keeping the original version.

When we finished, everyone cheered, their phones still in their hands. Diana smiled up at me.

"That was fun," she said, handing the mic back to me.

"It was. Why'd you come up here?" I asked.

"Damien said that he'd give me fifty bucks if I came up and performed with you guys. Guess who's fifty dollars richer?" she asked. "This girl!" She pointed her thumbs at herself as Damien walked up to us.

"I owe you fifty dollars," he said, pulling a fifty dollar bill and handing it to her.

"Thank you," she smiled, putting it in the wallet I got her for her fourteenth birthday.

"Glad to see you guys are having fun together," I said, giving them a small smile before putting the mic down and joining the guys at the bottom of the bleachers.
