Primrose POV (PS: Primrose is Katniss' daughter or the Lart twins' mother.)

I stare blankly at the screen. My two youngest daughters are fighting to the death.

I see the mace fly through the air and puncture through the bark of the trunk. My daughters are staring around, trying to find out who has decided to endanger their lives. On the screen flashes Lux's and Renee's faces. They are off to kill my daughters alright. Crystal and Carmen don't realize it though. But I see everything.

Renee's mace is gone and has been stuck to a tree. The tree splutters out a weird sort of orange liquid. It splashes directly on the Capitol ground but changes everything it touches to ice.

"Frostbite!" Carmen yells. I know that plant. It's a plant that our apothecary uses to numb injuries. But just a tiny drop though. Because this orange liquid can kill if a overdose is given.

Crystal heads straight. There are buildings everywhere. Carmen, however, stays put. I wonder what's happening.

Just as the liquid is about to reach her feet, she sees them. With Renee as a ally, Lux feels emotionless about this. Carmen is furious as she takes off to higher ground.

The Frostbite slushes quickly, always at the tip of Carmen's heels. She overruns it though and manages to climb up a over-colored tree with Crystal in another.

Just then, I see the same exact mace glide through the air. It hits a tree and more Frostbite oozes out.

Carmen and Crystal are shocked as the routine continues multiple times. The Frostbite piles up, almost touching them.

I hear the footsteps of Renee and Lux. They are walking in boots that Renee had received at the Cornucopia. These boots are recognized to be anti heat and can't be freezed. They walk, to retrieve Renee's mace. Just as Renee pulls out her mace, she sends it flying to another tree. More frostbite piles up and touches the branch that Crystal is on. Luckily, she climbs higher and doesn't get affected.

Just as Renee swings her mace again, I prepare for a death. But who?

Carmen POV

The frostbite is too much. In any case, these trees are all full of that liquid. If we don't do anything fast, Crystal and I will die.

I grab an arrow and send one flying to Renee. She deflects it and gets Lux to send a trident to my knee. It hits the target but my arms are still okay.

My mother did mention that if anyone is touched by a huge amount of frostbite, they can cure it with the Laiva tree. This tree stores a heat source in it's sap and can cure and melt the Frostbite.

I search around for a Laiva tree. This time, all Frostbites have contributed the Frostbite. Now, Renee and Lux proceeds to hacking down my tree.

Finally, I see a orchard of it. It's far away, alright, but nothing that can't reach here in about two minutes.

My arrow is sent flying to the oldest Laiva tree. Its heat is sent sloshing down the slope it's on and is reaching. However, my tree is giving way. This time, Crystal sends a knife to another Laiva tree. The heat is sent towards us as I see the Frostbite melting.

Renee retrieves her mace and their alliance heads off. Just before they do, they have an arrow. With another note. Lux plummets it into my knee which sends a pain riding up my body.

Just as the last of the frostbite melts off, I manage to get the arrow out. The note is a reply.

"Well, Good Luck then. You may find us. But not break us."

Katniss POV

My granddaughters have survived. They have survived the ordeal. That's all I can think off now.

With Peeta by my side, I'm sitting with all the sponsors. They are laughing, eating and drinking away. This year, Haymitch isn't with us.

The sponsors are mostly drunk. But I see that most have eyes out for Renee and Lux. Carmen and Crystal are being ignored. Of course. With Renee, a master with that mace and Lux, a Capitol boy with a eleven for training, this alliance is extremely strong. From that attack, it is clear who is stronger.

Peeta tries to interact with the sponsors, getting them to like our granddaughters even more, but it not working. The sponsors gasp in awe before gossiping about Renee and Lux again. In the Capitol, trends change as fast as a cheetah can run. From shipping Crux, it has become to Reux.

From the screens in front of me, I can see everything. Renee and Lux are discussing strategies. I hear the words "Lart Twins" and "maces and axes". In less than a minute, a sponsor has sent down all they need. The maces and axes.

As I see the situation, I wish a silent wish to my two granddaughters.

"Don't worry. You'll be just fine." I say in my heart.
