It was another cold and gloomy day. Outside it poured heavily, the rain drumming on your windows. You sat on your couch wrapped in a heap of blankets, the lights were off, and the TV was blaring some K-Drama you had turned on to fill the silence. You paid no interest to the two characters who were currently on screen, confessing their love for one another. The thought of true love had been ruined for you just a few days ago when you found out your boyfriend of two years had been using you as a publicity stunt. Although he claimed it had started out like that, he had quickly realized you were truly the one for him. But the thought of the original purpose had ended up in you yelling for him to get out and to never come back. Since then, he had spent a great deal of time trying to call, text, and even send his other band mates over to your house to try to reason with you. Maybe you had taken it too far by not letting him explain himself, but all you could think of at the moment was how he lied and played you all for a stunt.

You sighed as you looked out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in your condo. The rain seemed to be pouring even harder. Ever since you called it quits with him, the rain had poured non-stop. It seemed to match your current mood. You wondered how he was doing. Was he as upset as you were? Maybe he didn't even care. If you were still together right now, you'd be cuddled up on the couch sipping tea or hot chocolate and laughing as he tickled you, giving you small kisses all over your face.

You woke from your thoughts as you heard your doorbell ring. It was probably him or one of the other members, or maybe even his sister. Maybe it was time for you to face him, but it seemed too difficult. You sighed and got up from your spot of solitude, the blankets falling to the floor. You didn't even care for your appearance as you walked to the door and in fact, you'd rather let him see how much you were suffering. You hadn't washed or brushed your hair. It had remained in a braid draped along your shoulder. You'd been wearing the same pair of grey sweats and the big t shirt you'd stolen from him long ago, which was currently wrinkly.

You touched the panel that showed who was at your front door, he was outside your door, pacing back and forth, looking disheveled. You opened the door and he turned rapidly to face you, a surprise look on his face. Probably due to shock that you'd actually opened the door for him.

"Hi," he said softly as he shoved his hands into his pockets.

Your heart sank more as you saw how depressed he looked. His hair was unwashed, he wore some old black sweats, his grey shirt was wrinkled too, and the hoodie he had on, hung loosely. He looked homeless, like he hadn't eaten or slept at all.

"Come in," you forced out, hoping it wasn't too awkward, but you could tell it already was.

The two of you walked to the family room and you sat back on the couch, while he took the chair next to you. He looked at you with cloudy and sad eyes and a dark, sad face.

"I miss you," he said quietly. He continued on, "It's been hell without you these past few days. I haven't eaten or slept, I haven't even been to practice."

You signed, your shoulders slumping forward. You hated seeing him like this, so lifeless, practically dead. "Hobi-" your voice cracked as you said his name.

He looked up at you, tears beginning to form in his eyes as well.

"Hobi," you started again, "How do you think I've been? I'm pretty sure I'm deeper in the hole than you are."

He abruptly stood up, causing you to flinch. He stared at you, his eyes now angry. "And you don't think I could have it worse? I know I shattered your heart, but you ripped mine out, stomped on it, and cut it up!" He yelled, his hands were in fists.

You wanted to interject but he was now on a roll, "I don't care what you think! Yes, I lied! Yes, it was wrong to lie to you and use like that, but I called off the plan when I found out I truly loved you! If this were a stunt we would've only been together for less than a year! I love you jagi! (Y/N) I absolutely love you! Why can't you see that?" He shouted before grabbing you and pulling you up off the couch.

Without any warning he crashed his lips onto yours, tears streaming down both of your faces. This kiss was like no other. Sure, the previous ones were passionate and meaningful, but this kiss was different. It was as if all the emotions you had for him, love, hate, desire, and sadness, had all come out in this one kiss. The two of you stayed locked in each other's arms, Hoseok still pouring his emotions into the kiss, for the next few minutes. You finally pulled away, your breath shaky and tears still dripping. You looked up at him, even more confused.

"Jagi," he breathed, his face full of emotions. He pulled you close once again and gave your forehead a kiss, then pulled away. "I'll give you time if that's what you want. I should take some time off too. I love you jagi, always know that." He stepped back and turned, heading towards the door.

You were rooted to the floor and wanted nothing more than to chase after him, but something held you back. You let out a sigh when you heard the door close and then you fell to the couch, closing your eyes, trying to keep the kiss you had in your mind. You sighed again, realizing that you could potentially be broken up with Hoseok, but then again both you and he needed space. You looked back at the door, before you once again went back to the dark hole you were once in, letting the memories of this afternoon fade away.
