I struggled to keep up with Mahiru as well as not tripping with the baskets of cookies I had in my hand, lets just say once again he went a little over board on the samples to see if his classmates wanted these cookies. At the same time I also had multiple bags on both shoulders containing all the decorations I had to do for the festival, also the reason why Mahiru made these cookies.

I noticed he stepped into a classroom so I walked in beside him making sure not to lose my grip on the baskets and that my shoulders wouldn't fall asleep with all the stuff I was carrying.

"Are you still not finished? How long does it take to decide who does what? What a pain, here I baked a batch of cookies to try." why does he have to sound so angry about this? I tried to cower back as everyone swarmed around us to get some cookies, Sakuya took one from my basket and sent a wink my way as he did so. I thought my eyes had exploded out of my head at that moment, he gets on my nerves.

After the swarm had stopped I handed the baskets I had to hold over to Mahiru since they're no longer carrying anything.

I dropped the bag of decorations to my hand and brought out a few with my other "and I've made some decoration ideas to decide what you guys like!" I smiled brightly at everyone as I began to pull them all out of the bag and spread them all over the floor for everyone to see.

They all began to gawk over my artistic skills and a few of my friends made comments on how I overwork myself, comments like that always made me grow flustered thinking it was bad for me to do that but they would always reassure me as long as I was fine doing that, which I was.

Finally Mahiru and I took our seats beside each other as they told us about how only costumes were left now, I debated on taking it myself since I am good at sewing but my job was already doing decorations and posters and all that stuff. There was already too much on my plate but I knew almost nobody could sew in this class and I didn't want to see them worry so much about this.

"The choice is obvious.." Mahiru said as I zoned out all of his other words already used to what happens every time this kind of situation occurs.

"We'll have to do it!" my sort of brother and I shouted out at the same time, giving each other a high five as we still remained in our seats, a small smile appeared on my face as everyone cheered on how great we were for doing such difficult things all the time that got everyone out of doing it.

I mean somebody's gotta do it.

*********

The bell rang signaling we could finally leave, I groaned not wanting to walk home just yet since I just woke up now. I was caught up in all classes so there was no reason to stay awake and actually pay attention.

I wouldn't say I'm a very intelligent student with straight A's but with my busy schedule the teachers always give me the assignments for the next few weeks which I complete in two days and then never pay attention during class, technically I never have to come but I have a perfect attendance to maintain. I may not be the smartest but I will have a perfect attendance, mark my words!

My shoulder began to be poked several times by an annoying green haired boy, I internally sighed and grabbed my book bag hanging from my chair and slung it over my shoulder as I was handed my bag of decorations for the festival.

"Thanks Sakuya." I replied sleepily as I lazily grabbed the bag from his hands, like always he tried to pat my hair down but from taking such a long nap like that the frizz can not be contained.

We exited the classroom and began our walk outside where we would met the rest of the group, Mahiru, Ryusei, and Koyuki but before that I had to deal with annoying chatter of the boy beside me.

"So are you coming with me by the station today?" Sakuya said in a very cocky manner as his arms stretched behind his head just to make his already cocky sounding question even worse.

All I could was roll my eyes at him before responding, "can't, I have to go to the stores with Mahiru and the others to pick up supplies. Anyway I would never be caught dead with just you." this caused the green haired boy's eyebrow to raise as he stopped us in our tracks by stepping in front of me, I sighed and grabbed on to the strap of my backpack tightly to hold myself back from punching him.

"You're kinda with me right now darling~" I groaned as his face tried coming closer to mine, immediately my hand made contact with his face, no I didn't slap him just simply pushed his face away from mine as I continued walking, he immediately ran to me and started walking by my side again as we finally saw our group of childhood friends.

Thank god, Mahiru can save me from this mess. Yeah I seem like such a shy, nice girl but with Sakuya and the rest I can have a bit of an attitude at times, well except towards Koyuki, we're way too nice to each other.

"Hey guys." I gave them a slight wave but a very small smile that I swear could show how truly tired I am, Koyuki gave me a very cheerful smile back as Ryusei could only glare at me. He's still a bit mad about me beating him in that soccer match we had the other day, not my fault he sucks at watching his goal.

Koyuki opened up his arms as I got closer to the group, my smile became bigger as I gave him a loose hug which he returned back an even tighter one. We pulled away and began to walk in the direction of Mahiru and I's house, I almost forgot we have a new kitten to take care of!

Oh, this will be so exciting! I'll cuddle and love it and agh I'm just going to spoil the heck out of the cute little ball of fur.

I wasn't even paying attention to where the group was walking or what was being said as my mind began to cloud over with all the thoughts of my new kitten, playing with it, feeding it, cuddling it, petting it. It's just so cute!

"Mitsu, snap out of it!" I felt a thwack against the side of my forehead making me tune back into reality to see it was Sakuya who had done that, I looked at all the faces to notice one was missing and that we had stopped walking.

"Where's Mahiru?" I asked curiously yet worried at the same time as my head swiveled around to look for the boy I consider a brother.

"He rushed home to go get some laundry done." Ryusei explained as my eyes had widened, wait did he mean the clothes we had in the basket that also included my undergarments?

I screamed and began to run in the direction of our home "Mahiru don't touch my underwear!" I flailed as I ran away from the group causing them all to burst in a fit of laughter at my statement, usually I'd be horribly embarrassed at this realizing what I had said allowed but I was too busy panicking at the horrid thoughts.
