The wizard cleared his throat

The wizard cleared his throat. I realized that I had been leaning forwards to look at the scroll.( I'm probably gonna add a picture of the map at some point, but I need ideas for place names...to the Internet! ) The wizard tapped the western region of the map. "These are the Neziron Timberlands," he said. "And here," he added, pointing to an "X" on the map, "is where you are. You want to get back home, right?" We nodded. "Then you want to go to the capital city of Otheron." "Why can't we just go through the portal we came here through?" Paul asked. The wizard laughed. "Kid, the portals are one-way. You wanna get home, you gotta go through a different portal."

I looked at the map. Otheron was in the eastern region, Thryden. The northern region,Erith, was pretty bare, except for a few towns scattered here and there. The entire country was what April had called it: Elysia. "You know what?" I asked. ". I think we can do this."

"But first," the wizard said, "you can't exactly go out wearing that, can you? I mean, no one wears clothes like that around here." I looked at my clothes. What was wrong with them? Sure, they were a bit damp from the little mishap with the pond, but other than that they looked okay. The wizard led us to a different part of the house. We went through a door and found ourselves in a room full of clothes. The wizard told Paul to stay there until he came back. Then he led me to a rack of dresses. "Pick one," he said gruffly. I did. The dress that I chose was nothing special, just a green dress with long sleeves that flared out just under my elbow. The hem fell down to my ankles, and the neckline was fairly low. The shoes were green flats. When I walked back out, Paul stared at me. "What?" I asked, feeling self-conscious. Paul shook his head and followed the wizard. While he was gone, the wizard re-appeared. He handed me the third scroll that he had picked off of the shelf. "Open this at the right time," he whispered. "When is the right time?" I whispered back. "And why are we whispering?" He looked at me. "You'll know," he said. Right then, Paul appeared. He was wearing a short-sleeved green shirt and light brown pants. He had a matching brown vest and black shoes. I decided that he looked good in that.

The wizard then led us to another part of his house (this house is big,), which held two leather satchels. The wizard handed them to us. "Now you're ready, so go away," he said. We thanked him ("yeah yeah, whatever"), and retraced our steps through the clothing room to the library to the door. With our new clothes and map, we set out along the road to Otheron.

P.S. please do not ship Jayda and Paul. They are friends.
