Ugh. I've hated this vacation from the very beginning. For almost two weeks now, I've been trapped in South Carolina since my lovely parents decided that it was a great idea to have some sort of family bonding trip, but this has been long enough for me. I can not stress enough how much I want it to be over.
Seriously, why can't I just go home already and watch anime?
And when I said it was family bonding, it was pretty much my mom and my dad going out on dates the whole time while I was a lousy third wheel. It's how it's always been.

"Matt!" I heard my mother call from another room of our beach house. I swear that woman could cause an earthquake with her every move.
Of course I knew she wouldn't hear me if I yelled back at her, so I saved my breath and headed downstairs only to find my mother in a bathing suit, a large grin beginning to creep onto her face.
"Oh, there you are! So today, I thought it'd be fun if we could go to a water park! What do you think about this one?"
I soon found myself with a pamphlet in my hand.
"WaterWorks Waterpark eh?" I started to look through the little booklet she had handed me, because I had to pretend I cared. Although the rides looked pretty fun, terrifying even.
I gave her my casual shrug. "Meh, we can go if you-"
"Okay then, it's settled!"
Oh yeah, and another thing about my mom. She enjoys to cut people off mid sentence and is very hyper. After a while, I wish I could slam my head against a wall.
I heard her call for my father as well so that she could inform him on what the plan was. He only nodded his head though, as usual.
As soon as we were all dressed and ready to head out, the three of us got into our car and were on our way. But of course, I ended up falling asleep for the whole trip. Figures. I wish my nap had included a dream though, I'd be something to keep my mind busy for the time being.
My nap was going well.. All up to the point where I was abruptly awakened from my slumber. My eyes instantly shot to her, a cold glare stating its strong presence.
"Oh I know you're sick of vacation and want to go home, and of course now you'll be a little cranky but come on! We only have a few days of vacation left! You might as well make those last few days count! So let's go have some fun!!!" Then I was suddenly yanked up from my chair as we were flying to the place where we got the tickets.
When my mom managed to finally chill out and get us all of our tickets, we got in the the park (it was about time)
When my eyes laid eyes on the park, it actually looked pretty cool. From where I was I could already see this really tall drop slide with a chamber like thing where people were getting in before being shot down. Another thing I saw was kind of like a half pipe sort of thing but a water slide version which seemed pretty cool. Only it kinda surprised me when I saw there was barely any people there. It seemed like there were more workers than visitors. Well, maybe because it was a Sunday, plus it wasn't the hottest day ever. But wait, why am I caring about something as idiotic as this?! This was going to be a bad day, right? That's how it's been the whole damn vacation! So it's bound to be true.
"Hey Matt, me and your father are going to go to this adult swim up bar for a while, do you mind exploring on your own for a while?"
Go fucking figure.
"Sure, bye have fun" but when I really to say was 'fuck off, I wish you'd actually give a shit about your son'
I watched them as they went their separate ways from me and I had soon did the same, walking to the steep drop water slide. On my way though, I walked past quite a few workers. And yes, before you ask, they were guys. I've read too many fan fictions where they're like 'why am I staring at a guy!? I'm not gay!' But I'm not going into war with myself about my sexuality, so fuck it, I'm gay.
But I really didn't understand though. I did not even see one single ugly worker here. All the guys looked pretty good.
I started to walk up the multiple flights of stairs until finally I got to very top. There were actually a few people in front of me, so I had to patiently wait. It didn't take as long as I thought. One by one they went down. It just made my adrenaline rush higher.
The person who had been in front of me had finally went, so it was finally... My turn. I quickly got ahold of myself and walked over to the chamber, but then just for a second, my heart stopped.
Before me stood a kid who looked not much older than myself. His raven hair was gelled to a small spike, his crystal blue eyes glanced at me like it could shatter my heart, and he had slight abs that you could see since his shirt was off.
But I think he noticed that I was checking him out.
"Okay, so what you want to do is get in the chamber and cross your legs and arms, then it will begin to count down, alright?" He instructed as he gave me a warm smile, making me want to jump off the freaking ride. Like please somebody push me off of this death trap.
But I gave him a smile in return, hoping that my blush wasn't too bad. I immediately gave him a nod in response before jumping into the chamber and doing as told, crossing my arms and legs.
He saw that I was ready and gave me a thumbs up. I just stared at him with a smile though. But then I saw something on his shorts. A name tag. I squinted the best that I could, and it paid off.
'Adam'
And that's when I plummeted to my death. Well, it's finally official. I'm coming here again, and this time, without my parents.
Hello everyone! I apologize if this isn't the best, I wrote this first chapter in the car and I'm dealing with the lack of sleep, so please bear with me!
But please tell me what you think! I always love to get feedback!
Until the next chapter!
