~Aaron's POV~
Today was the day I was gonna ask out Aphmau. I've been waiting for the perfect time and I think now is it. I walked hurriedly down the halls of Phoenix Drop High. Watching all the lockers pass by until I got to hers. I didn't see her so I waited there for a bit. I saw Zane walking alone so I decided to ask him about Aphmau.
"Hey do you know where Aphmau is?" His pretty blue orbs turned to look at me in the eyes. I never noticed how perfect his eyes were. They were like shiny little blue marbles.
"No, but Garroth told me that last night she wasn't feeling well," Zane's voice was so captivating. So soft yet firm. I couldn't take my eyes off him. I started feeling this knot form in my chest. I think I miss Aphmau cause why else will my chest feel this way. "Hey Aaron are you okay?" Again with that captivating voice I felt steam rush across my face. I think he noticed me staring at him for too long.
"Uh y-yeah I'm fine," I quickly walked away trying to not look back. I did though. I saw his black silky hair. I bumped into Garroth and fell backwards. He held out his hand to help me up.
"You seem more distracted than usual. What's wrong? Oh! It's Aphmau huh? She's home sick," Garroth looked at me with a goofy smile. I couldn't tell him that I was actually thinking about Zane. I did trust him, but I can't tell anyone when I don't even know my true feelings for him.
"Uh, ya will she be here tomorrow?" Garroth shrugged. So much for asking her out. We talked a bit until class started. I sat down and Zane say in front of me. I felt a little blush form on my cheek but looked down to hide it. I just stared at him for all of class time. The bell rang almost giving me a heart attack. I jumped and my books fell. Zane got up and kneeled down helping me get my books. Our hands touched and I blushed furiously. He giggled and that knot in my chest began to tighten. When I got them all I rubbed the back of my neck and thanked him.
The next two periods were full of me daydreaming about Zane. I couldn't get his his laugh out of my head, along with his cute smile. I might have a crush on this guy. When lunch started I sat next to Garroth and Travis. But guess who sat in front of me.
"Hey guys what up?" Zane set his tray down and took a seat. He smiled at me. A tuff of pink creeped onto my cheeks. Travis looked at me and laughed for a pretty good while.
"Haha!! Aaron likes Zane!!!" And with that I got up and almost ran to the restroom and locked myself in one of the stalls. I felt tears threatening to come rolling down my cheeks. I heard the door open again.
"Aaron?!" Zane called out my name, and with that tears poured down my face. I guess he heard me crying cause before I knew it he climbed over the stall. He looked hot while doing it too. He grabbed my chin so I was looking at him. He looked at me and then I felt a pair of lips crash into mine. I had to process what just happened before I kissed back. We pulled apart and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Hey it's okay I'm here now," we stayed there, embracing for a good while.
