Sans and Papyras were walking through Snowdin, Papyras made Sans get out of the house to watch him and Undine train, he knew his brother was lazy. Of course, Sans didn't want to, Sans had other plans. (Sans not being lazy?)
"Papyras, I understand you want me to get out of the house, but I got to go gard my post." Sans said, trying to keep up with the taller skeleton. "NONSENSE BROTHER! I, THE GREAT PAPYRAS KNOWS THAT YOU WILL ONLY SLEEP THE WHOLE DAY!" Papyras complained. "Don't worry bro, yesterday I got a ton of work done. A 'Skele-ton'." Sans joked. "AGHH! SANS! STOP WITH YOUR TERRIBLE PUNS!" Papyras exclaimed.
"Your smiling." Sans teased. "I KNOW AND I HATE IT!" Papyras yelled flailing his arms around. Sans had a huge grin on his face. Papyras smiled at Sans and started ranting about how the training with Undine will get him one step closer to being in the royal gard, however Sans wasn't listening. The nightmare he had the night before was bothering him, alot. Sans's pupils left his eye sockets as a memory of the nightmare repeated itself in his mind.
Sure, Sans had nightmares every night. But this one was different than any other, he saw blue threads, tangled around a soul. Glitched laughter was herd throughout the nightmare, paint flying everywhere. Honestly, Sans had no idea what happened in that dream, er, nightmare? But it really freaked him out,
Without realising it, Sans had stopped walking during Papyras's rant. When Sans snapped out of his daze, Papyras was crouched in front of him with his hands on both of Sans's shoulders. Papyras stopped yelling his name when Sans came out of it. "SANS, THANK ASGORE YOU ARE OK! YOU HAD ME WORRIED BROTHER! YOU JUST SUDDENLY STOPPED AND HAD THAT SCARY FACE ON AGAIN! ARE YOU OK!?" Papyras Exclaimed.
"Uh, what were we talking about..?" Sans asked shrugging his shoulders. "SANS, WERE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME! DO YOU NEED DR. ALFYS TO CHECK ON YOU?" Papyras asked, concern laced his voice. Sans shook his head. "Nah bro, I'm fine, really." Sans tried convincing his brother. Papyras didn't believe him, he picked up Sans and carried him to Undine's house.
-----
He knocked on the door with a sleeping Sans in one of his arms. Undine open the door and stepped aside to let them in. Papyras placed Sans on one of Undine's couches, they both sat on the one across from him. "So, Papyras. What's wrong? I know that look." Undine asked crossing her arms. "Sans, he's been acting strange. Ever since that nightmare from last night. Of course, he has nightmares every night. But. This one, it's really bothering him. Earlier today, while we were walking, he just suddenly stopped! He had that scary face, Undine. He wouldn't even respond to me shaking him or calling his name." Papyras explained talking in a softer voice so he wouldn't wake up the short skeleton.
"Maybe you should take him to Dr. Alfys. This is turning into problem, I'm worried too." Undine admitted. "Ok, I'll take him when he wakes up. Do you want to come?" Papyras asked. "Sure." Undine replied. While Undine and Papyras were talking, Sans started to stir in his sleep. Papyras noticed this and got up and walked over to Sans, Undine fallowed.
They watched Sans carefully, Sans was mumbleing words inaudible to here.
"Another Nightmare?" Undine wispers to Papyras. Papyras only nodded. Sans started tossing and turning more violently, his left eye had a blue flame-like aura seeping through his closed eye socket. "I-I think we should wake him up." Papyras motioned to Sans. "Sans! Wake up!" Undine yelled shaking Sans's shoulder. Sans didn't wake up.
After almost half an hour, Sans finally woke up. "SANS YOU'RE AWAKE!" Papyras exclaimed hugging his brother. "Uh, what did I miss?" Sans asked shaking from the nightmare. Papyras let go of his brother and explained everything. "Oh, sorry to worry you guys." Sans apologized rubbing the back of his neck.
Without warning, Undine picked up Sans and walked out the door. "W-Whoa! Undine what are you doing?" Sans panicked. "DON'T WORRY BROTHER! UNDINE AND I, THE GREAT PAPYRAS WILL TAKE YOU TO ALFYS SO SHE CAN HELP!" Papyras cheered.
